Yamato and gilgamesh are the easiest weapons to break those large crystals if u dont believe try it =)

@AcidicBathWater use royal guard on the orangeish color orbs, with the right timing you can block all three perfectly

@AcidicBathWater use pandora with the high powered shot once or twice to knock him down. after that, just walk around him destroying them with regular shot (on ground) with pandora, its one shot and the orb is blown

In first the best tehnique is destroy this blue crystals on his bag and legs, 'cause crystals on his arms and his head are easy to destroy.:P

honestly though, this mission is a piece of cake when u have the Drive skill

shoot it at the savior a few times and u can knock it off its feet long enough to destroy at least 3 of those crystals

if u dont believe me, try it out yourself and probably best start at human difficulty
