Havnt tried it with Coop but single player is boring its pretty much like Dead Rising but on a island where you just go around leveling up, getting better weapons and killing zombies which stay the same difficulty because they level up with you!

DEAD ISLAND GLICTH MUST READ: to do this glitch you will need a ladder that is very very close to a wall, first climb half way up the ladder and stop, look all the way to the right and climb down, climb down to the bottom, and when the animation starts for getting off the ladder keep look right and back up while the animation happens, if you do it after the animation, you will not go into the wall, yes you go into the wall, when in the wall you can shot hit and throw through it.SREAD AROUND

L4d2 is good in the sence of alot of zombies and guns but its the same thing over and over . i never played dead island but it looks more realistic in the sence of servival tactics instead of health packs ammo and safe room . at least here it looks like you establish your own safe house.

Alrighty, in my opinion, l4d and dead island has its own plus points. L4d gets boring after awhile but the interesting things is you can play as the zombies. But Dead island still wins cos it has a lot of replay value.

I didn't ever play it but im downloading it now and i still can say why it's better to download/buy Dead Island than L4D/L4D2.

I can say that:

L4D is just a game where you come out of nowhere and just pwn zawmbeez then u get rescued.

Dead Island has a story and it's really cool to have a zombie game WITH story what is very rare.

in L4D u have some melee and and shooting weapons, but it's not as creative as Dead Island, so Dead Island is better

Don't compare things they can't be compared, even they are both zombies based games, gameplay and coop are differents.

This game is fucking beast! You actually have to find your shit. As you progress through the game, it'll be harder and harder and you start to realize that any weapon is better than none. This game isnt like L4D2 where you kill 20+ zombies at once... This game is like "If you see one zombie.. dont sweat it.. but 3 zombies... better kite Them"

@Gbeast21 Left 4 dead is a gay game. Dead island is a much better, action packed version. Left 4 dead was just like 15 missions and there wasnt unlimited weaponry. The only good weapons were in left 4 dead 2, and there was a very limited supply. Plus, you cant drive cars, and kick people down, And on the other hand, the weapons are much better in this game then on left 4 dead, and plus more weaponry+more infected=hours of fun. Therefore, left 4 dead is the gayest zombie game out there.

This game is free roam and only one person per console. you can change the setting to play online or offline but during online the zombie will match lvl of the Hightest lvl player. Items respawn not weapons and there's no resetting your skills so plan ahead.
