John, Noni and George were my favourites out of Play School.
I saw George live in 1992, when I was around 5 or 6 and got a hat with a picture of him with a huge smile and beneath it says "I Saw George" and he signed it. Don't know where it is now :(
He was quite a hunk
Also saw John and Benita performing at a fair - think it was around 1996
I discovered a Russian website that has this episode in full and this is also the exact episode where that "Ning, Nang, Nong" clip seen on YouTube came from.
I loved John. He was such a cool old dude... my mum loved him as well LMAO and man... it's weird seeing them all around the place nowadays when I grew up with them like that. I was so surprised seeing Colin's cds at Koorong but it kinda made me smile. Glad he's still working with children but in another way.
Last time I saw Angela on telly was a kids music video 'Mozzie in my Cozzie' and I remember an old episode when she played a 78rpm children's record on a gramophone. Anyone else remember that?
SMACK *jaw hits desk* DAAAAAAAAYM, this sure brings it back.
I remember thinking this was THE GREATEST THING EVER! It was rare even see THREE presenters at a time, let alone 9. George was always my favorite and Trisha teaching me how to say hello in Arabic...THANKS HEAPS FOR LOADING THIS !
I MISS this show. I miss the people... And now that I'm nearly sixteen, still obsessed with musical theatre: Ye frikking gods, it's PHILLIP QUAST!!! 8D
notice all the females are wearing loose fitting button up shirts.... i wonder if it's just how everyone dressed back in the 90s or if they're making a big effort to stifle the differences between men and women??? (food for thought)
These were the fucking awesome presenters. John! Monica! Phillip! Noni! Benita! Angela! I only remembered her now. And I don't really remember Trisha, George or Colin, but when I saw them, I was like OMFG I REMEMBER THEM.
I love all these presenters.
I may have to buy this and smuggle it into the house.
@christinedaae101 you didn't remember colin?? he was like the newest presenter back then! And George was one of my faves :) John was the best though. They look so YOUNG hahaha.
Thank you so much for this. I remember this episode, however my memories of Angela, Philip and Trisha are very vague. Although I still remember that "S" symbol on that purple shirt Colin used to wear like yesterday.
(smiles due to fond memories of watching all of them)
