  • People get over the fact that his hands didn't get cut off.

  • I got a boner!!!!

  • Finally im not the only one who thought his hands should be cut off!!!

  • that should have cut his hands off to

  • The problem with this and the whole series is their motivations are so inconsistent. The first one was good. They were more amoral hedonists that had gone too far at some point. Then it degenerated into a good vs. evil battle.

  • @idgarad

part 2 was still like that. then it began to become askew. i mean, it made total sense in that movie though; it reminded them they were once human. but then again Pinhead wasnt supposed to show up for the 3rd, so i guess it doesnt matter.

  • Cheesy movie.

  • I dislike cuz Pinhead is a pinprick. He changed the rules of Hell, fucked Elliot, and has no heart. ROT IN HELL BITCH! 1988-2127 You made Channard look like Santa Claus.

  • This death scene always annoys me because it seems out Hellraiser tradition. Usually the Cenobites don't kill anyone because it would be a wasted opportunity to make someone suffer. Also this death seemed excessive. The chain going through and then out again would have been a slower more painful death by far than simple decapitation. Come on Pinhead, where's the suffering?

  • @Rune31 I think Pinhead was in a hurry. That's why he killed the guy off so quickly.

  • anyone else think this guy shoulda lived?

  • @LukeDavis93 In the workprint version, he does.

  • @FaceStealer666 realy?

  • @FaceStealer666 I thought he just traps pinhead and demon bitch, then pinhead breaks free and kills him the same way he does in this

  • Hellraiser: The Best

    Hellbound Hellraiser 2: The Best

Hellraiser 3 hell on Earth: the Best

Hellraiser 4 Blood line: the best

Clive Barker is cool, he made lots of cool stuff like Hellraiser 1-4, Nightbreed, Lord of Illusions, candy Man, Jericho, Book of Blood, Midnight Meat train, and lots of others got to love him.

  • At the end, did Leviathan open the box and take back Angelique and Pinhead, or was that something else? LOL I should just watch the movie...

  • @Silkara78 I think it was the light that made the box do that.

  • is that the kid from BASEketball?

  • The dude's wife in this played the female lead in A nightmare on elm street 2.

  • @thekorn51 Yeah,she is Kim Meyers.

  • I hate that kid since he was in the shining remake. His always open mouth looks like an aliens asshole.

  • @hubbzoo he doesn't cut his hands, he grabs the chain but when pinhead pulls the chain back to decapitate him, the blood that comes from his decapitation gets onto his hands. It makes sense if you look at it that way!

  • DRAMATIC PINHEAD

  • I've wondered the same thing you have, Bremir. Everytime I watch this movie with my friends we all debate on how it didn't cut his hands lmao.

  • @Bremir!! You are so right!! His hands do not get cut :D!

  • what about his fingers?

  • i haven't seen any of the hellraiser movies, i probably got a really bad impression from that clip in family guy i used to think he was just mental, like the riddler from the original batman movies

  • Don't worry, Pinhead's not mental, and he's nothing like the Riddler. I really don't think the writers have seen the Hellraiser movies (evidenced by the fact that Peter called Pinhead "Hellraiser").

  • Actually it'd be easier for a HellRaiser vs. Wishmaster.

  • @hellscorpion2

    That would be beyond awesome.

  • wouldn't be fair, pinhead can jump into the dream world too, it would all be about jason trying to put him back in the box or something

  • @Huzzawful

Pinhead doesn't live in the box.

The Lament Configuration is just a key -a portal to hell.

I can't really think of any other horror character that can really take on Pinhead besides the Djinn from Wishmaster and another Cenobite.

  • No tears please, its a waste of good suffering.

  • haha he says "no tears please" when hes speaking on "her ghost in the fog" by cradle of filth, its funny

  • What a Evil Bastard this man is, my god... I won't be able to sleep tonight..

  • what about his hands

  • pinhead rocks!

  • WHAT THE HELL?? why didnt his hands get cut off?!? Shield or did the "cutter" fall of after it cut of the head

  • pinhead and kim myers ...one is evil and the other is hot

  • Maybe the blade retracted within a microsecond because it is self aware and has a 'thing' for hands with all fingers attached but could careless about necks or what parts of the body are closely connected to the neck, or maybe it was a minor fuck-up that went unnoticed by production. The brunette is hawt! I'd love to open her beef curtains!

  • Creative decapitation method that one.

  • Oh man, that Decapitation was owned.

  • best line from this or any horror movie-

    "Gentlemen.....I AM PAIN"

  • 1:26 but...I like games.

  • this is the last true hellraiser movie. 5,6,7,8 are shit, totally wasting the opportunities.

  • 5-8 could be standalone movies, but they through 5 min of cenobites into it to leech off hellraiser's name

  • yes that's what i mean. there is a expectation if i watch a hellraiser movie. cenobites, blood, gore, a lot of it. 5-8 don't deliver it. it's like a 90 minute pornmovie with 2 minutes of sex

  • Just because the cenobites don't have much screentime doesn't mean that it's just leeching off Hellraiser's name. The first Hellraiser is about the same, mostly focusing on Frank and Julia until about the last 30 minutes of it.

  • i found the concept of a zombie lover to be the interesting part anyways, the demons trying to drag him back to hell is just what made it intense

  • The pinheads laughter is almost funny!

  • AHHH! Hellraiser in space!

    I like movies like this...

when Pinhead took out the robot...

    and the starship appeared,

I stopped caring about the story line and grabbed some more popcorn!

  • hmm hang on a minute which hellraiser is this ? ive seen hellraiser 1 , 2 and 3 i dint know there were any more nice ive got new hellraisers :)

oh yer what u said in the description was rite his hands should have been cut

  • This is Hellraiser: Bloodline, the fourth movie in the series. There are 8 movies total. Starting with the fifth movie, the series went direct to video.

  • first time I saw this, didn't even see that chain coming

  • Yeah, it's fairly startling and brutal. I like how vicious Pinhead looks as he summons it too.

  • ''I have one problem with this scene - When he grabs the chain, shouldn't it also cut his hands? I never did understand how it missed them. ''

First thing that also came in my mind,, well nevertheless still awsome death =D

  • Lol the only thing that came to mind for me was... why was his eyes still not open... when someone get's their head chopped off... their brain is still working for a few seconds and they can move their eyes. I would reckon that would make a better scare. Thinking about getting my head cut off and being alive but not being able to do anything but look around is still scary.

  • his eyes closed becuase his head fell backwards, closing them,

  • pinhead wins flawless victory and double deadly fatality

  • how did he move his face after the was decapitated?

  • Because his face is still connected to his brain

  • I wonder if you open the Box could you personalize your personal hell, or does Pinhead already have a nightmare waiting for you. I would want hot Japanese girls in my personal hell....Then I wouldn't mind the eternity.

  • That's one hell of a razor

  • 01:34 shouldnt that chain cut his hands ? :o

  • I loved this one,its one of the better sequels

  • It's an immense film but i have to admit they did sort of go down hill after the 1st one.

  • awesome

the best decapitation ive ever seen!

  • The scissor-blades close after they pass through the neck - just an idea.

  • good scene, but wouldnt the razor cut off his fingers?

  • Its in the future, yet they are still using keyboards that look old by todays standards? Lol.

  • Hellraiser: Bloodline takes place in three time periods. This scene takes place in the present day, when the movie was released, 1996.

  • Well there you go. I haven't actually seen this one yet so that explains a fair bit. By the way I wasn't criticising it, I love Hellraiser movies despite their flaws.

  • Yeah I know lol. It would have been pretty laughable if you were right.

  • Vargas, i love that woman. "So tender... So ripe!" *boioioing*

  • Except of course that voice is a dubbe dover American accent, part of the studio edits. ;)

  • Well, i wouldn't mind dating the voice over lady then ;) lol

  • when she throws the box and it chains that one chick pinheads facial expression is like "ah shit" lol

  • haha yeh everytime the box opens he's like 'I'm not going back in that fucking box!' lol...or something similar

  • why is leviathon always trying to screw pinhead over

i like the revival of the hellraiser main theme as the blade pierces his neck

  • Only Angelique is trying to screw Pinhead over here, and that's because she's become to used to being human, and doesn't agree with the cenobites' worship of pain.

  • and channard lol, following leviathon's bidding

  • graet movie

  • dam!! pinheads one badass

  • perfect

  • Go Pinhead Go!

  • damn sick movie

  • the reason his fingers weren't cut off is probably because the blades folded down after going out of his neck

or thats what i think anyway

  • lol @ uploader's comment,good observation

  • you can cross hellraiser with saw

    hellraiser:no more games

Saw:you think it is over but you are wrong....the games have just, begun

    XDDDDD

  • How did his fingers not come off also..?

  • It annoys me so much how they keep calling him "Toymaker"

It really breaks the Hellraiser mood, it's irritating.

  • I think it's meant to reflect how the cenobites see this all as a game.

  • Oh gawwd. The decaptitating of the head bit makes me want to throw up!

  • he justing acting the sheer power of the light! so powerful it even blinds pinhead lol

  • For some reason, I really dislike Angelique. Did any else catch that look on Pinhead's face around 2:09?

That always makes me laugh. :D

  • "Aw fuck."

  • Yes, indeed. :D

  • AHH!

Hell raiser is space! Pinhead vs. robots, time travel, and a transforming space station!

WHo am I kidding!? I love movies like this!

  • Well.. technically there's no time travel, it just takes place over hundreds of years.

  • A space battle would have been a touch touch!

  • why did pinhead kill john merchant?

  • Because the studios butchered the film. Check out the video response for the original (rough) cut of the scene before the studios got to it. Pinhead's whole line is "You're as dangerous as she said you were... no more games" because John uses the Elyssian to try and kill Pinhead.

     - Scarecrow

  • thanks for telling me! he dies by having his head decapitated?

  • Because that thing John activated was intended to kill Pinhead.

  • thats cool how his head falls off!

  • We've uploaded a rough edit of the original version of this scene. Check it out! -Scarecrow & bameballs

  • Two Questions:

    1) Why did that demon woman get wrapped in chains?

    2) When the blades cut off his head, why not his fingers that were wrapped around the chain?

  • The part where she is first grabbed by the chains originally took place earlier in this scene, shortly after John activated "the toymaker's design". She was trying to kill Pinhead with it and Pinhead dodged the lights by hanging from the ceiling, then he tried dragging her into the lights to kill her.

  • All of this took place before the lights died out and Pinhead killed John by cutting his head off.

See, the studio had the movie reshot and re-edited, and this was one of the changes.

  • Don't really understand... but anyway what aslo bothers me is why weren't his fingers cut off?

    At 1:34?

  • It was just a mistake. I suppose they were thinking more about the decapitation than him losing his fingers.

Anyway, what I was trying to say before is, in an earlier cut of Bloodline, the part where Angelique (the woman, as you called her) is chained takes place earlier in this scene, as in when when thoe yellow lights are swirling around after John Merchant (the guy in the white shirt) activates the computer program.

  • Any plans for a new Hellraiser?

  • 2009 remake!

  • 2009 remake!

  • It was Pinhead who summoned the chains, and this was all before Bobbi, the white-shirted guy's wife, came into the room and solved the box. He was trying to drag Angelique into the lights to kill her because she's had those lights activated in the first place in order to kill Pinhead.

  • Why does Pinhead look down at his arm at 1:19? Did that light hurt?

Also, I just noticed something, John shouldn't have been able to grab the chain!

That hook shot straight through this spine, he should have been paralysed from the neck down. lol Buts I guess its just a movie.

  • Well yeah, I just told you the lights were meant to hurt Pinhead. It probably would have killed him if the program didn't f*** up.

  • cus she was a bitch trying to kill pinhead with merchants* anti-box machine.

  • wow longest chain of replies ive seen so far.

  • sge is, but it's still a really really weak line

  • My poor sweety! *cry*

  • a really good horror movie...

not like "scream" and "ghost face", that really sucked!

  • yeah, Ghostface was the lamest horror icon ever when you really think about it.

  • my only problem with this scene is when the boys mother screams "you go play woth your dog you bastard"

jesus, how fucking weak was that?

  • shes talking about the chatterer beast maybe?

  • Well she was, but it's still a silly line.

  • I love pinhead

  • This was a great movie.

  • i can see why they call 1 and 2 the only ones worth watching

  • that is one ugly kid

  • This was a sick part, though, with his head popping off from that spike

  • Yup, a well done decapitation.

My favourite decapitation of all has to be the end of Roman Polanski's Macbeth where Macbeth's hands (in their muscle-memory) grab out for his already severed head!! Sick and yet real at the same time.

  • I think this is one of the best and creepiest decapitations I've seen in a horror movie so far. He seems to still be alive for a few seconds afterwards, it's all so slow and agonizing compared to the typical decapitation.

  • Bruce Ramsey has such hilariously awesome hair in this film. XD And yeah, no wonder the Elysium configuration didn't work...they were using Windoze!

  • Oh wow, Windows 95...sweet.

  • Am I the only one who finds every single evil female character in the Hellraiser movies irresisstably hot?

  • Agreed.

  • I still like the older movies, but this is a good scene.

Off with the head....so Pinhead, if you know what I mean. 5 Stars !

  • 01:30-01:46 :oo

  • I have both the original script and a rough cut of the original version of the scene, which is MUCH better. Angelique doesn't say "open the gatewya for me" she gets him to make the Elysian, trapping Pinhead, to kill him. Pinhead useschains to life hismelf free then wraps Angelique in chains and drags her into the light and she screams. However it isn't finished and cuts out... Pinhead decides John is to dangerous to live and then kills him, continuing on as the final cut...

  • Do you have a copy of this script on a PDF or DOC whatsoever ? I would really like to check it out

  • It can be found on The Hellbound Web in the Library section at cenobite dot com

  • kooooooolio

  • i didnt really like this one i thought they were all very dull after the first three it really steam rolled down hill but if clive does a remake and ends the series with it im sure that one will be good.

  • I got to this part and decided to switch off. Hellraiser started getting too bloody, too violent and too hard pressed for storyline. The headslicing thing was more than I could handle.

Yeah his hands should technically have been sliced.

  • Do you mean films after Hellbound, or starting at Hellbound? Just wondering, because Bloodline was really less bloody than Hellbound, however Hellbound also kept a great story going.

I didn't mind Bloodline, though. But, we're all entitled to our opinions, and I respect your views on it.

  • Love this part
