Holy fucking jesus I can't believe people like you still exist that don't know the difference between "there," "their," and "they're." THERE is no way your teachers were that bad at THEIR jobs, but I guess THEY'RE right when politicians say that THERE is something wrong with America's education system. If you ask me I'd much rather buy a German- or Asian- made product because at least THEIR education systems aren't failing as badly as ours and producing morons like you.
@dragoonkng your comment is for pussys. Even slingshots are not toys dumbass! A person can lose an eye with those. People like you shouldn't have a gun!
@dragoonkng it is actually harder to shoot skeet with .410 compared to 12 or 20 due to the smaller spread and amount of pellets, so .410 in skeet is actually a mans weapon.
i like 410s in competitions just for low recoil and fast load time since im a damn good shot i dont need nearly as many bbs as a 12 gauge plus makes for a challenge and 410 shells arent that exspensive when you consider the low market for them and although you can get pads for 12 gauges they just arent the same realy and 410s are great for squerels since its less bbs going in like if you shoot buck shot on a squirel it would destroy it but usung a plain 410 it does fine
Does it matter how much a shotgun shell costs? Shoot what you can afford. I prefer a 28 gauge myself even though twice as much as a 12. It's a lot more fun to shoot while beating your opponents shooting 12 gauges too.
It always amazes me how much of a lack of muzzle discipline you see at skeet events. You will almost never see such a lack at a trap event. Don't believe me, watch this video again and count how many muzzle sweeps among the people you see. I know the breeches are open but that doesn't matter.
There are divisions for each bore size, and in most cases you can shoot a smaller size in the larger events (you could in theory shoot a .410 against the 12 gauge shooters. And since you travel to get to the big events it makes sense to make the most of the week. Makes you appreciate what they are doing as few people can shoot at this level.
I have a mossberg590 12 gauge. It's an awsome shotgun. I totally love it. However, I want to get a .410 shotgun so I can hunt squirrels, and just plink. what is a good full size 410 shotgun?
You will find the ammo for .410's is so expensive that you will not "plink" as much as you thought, 12 is easily 1/2 the cost of .410 ammunition unless you reload.

@birddogonyx you probably beat them cuz a 28 gauge has so much less recoil than a 12 gauge and the recovery time is so much faster

A .410 bore is bigger than a 9mm and a .40 S&W. Its the same as having a 410 caliber rifle. Thats why .410 is a "bore" and not a gauge like 12 and 20
CMgunguy44 2 years ago 4
@CMgunguy44 so i guess that is why they are so powerful for such a small gun??? 410s are some of the handiest shotgun u can own. they are beast!!!
cadillacowboy1 1 year ago
casepker
Becuase it is a smaller load, less BB's and less power, and the spread is not as big as a 20 guage or a 12 guage.
guage, hahah
salviboito 2 years ago
does a 20 gauge or a .410 have more kick??

20
.410 is a little bigger than a 9mm or possibly a .40
criticaboutvids 2 years ago
ok thanks
evilpyro44 2 years ago
@evilpyro44 a 410 has no kick except if u use a side by side it pushes in the direction of the barrel
jokerboy262 1 year ago
why are they using 410 do they shoot all day and dont want wear themselves out with a 12 bore.
milemead 2 years ago
Becuase its a lot more of a challenge with a 410. a 12 guage is a lot easier.
casepker 2 years ago
that is true im 13 and my grandpa gave me two shotguns one double barrel 20g and one pump 410g and it is harder with the 410
Blokanator 2 years ago
why is it harder? idk much about guns ive only been hunting once with a 410

rossi was my first gun its 120$ for a small child its 410. changable barrel and 22. lr its not long but its just a fun toy
benjiboywise 2 years ago
You should check into Saiga shotguns, the .410 is cheap. whats better than an auto loader that can port a 12 round magazine, or 20 round drum aye?
deadman2312 2 years ago

pbgd3 2 years ago
Wow that is strange. I would have though .410 ammo would be dirt cheap. I gues not.
madeinamerica650 2 years ago
you can pick up a box of 12 ga for around $5, while a box of .410 will run around $20.
Its more expensive because it has a much smaller market for .410, while 12ga is the most common shotgun gauge.
mongoose8330 2 years ago
just shoot the squirrels with the 12 gauge, use some 7 1/2 birdshot
my grandpa used to shoot squirrels with his 12 all the time when he was a kid
410 is more expensive, so unless you got a lot of money, just go with the 12
IWannaHuntTheRut 2 years ago
Yea I found out .410 is more expensive. I'm not buying one for that reason.
madeinamerica650 2 years ago
.410's kick less and take smaller rounds but are made for closer fireing and i have both .410 and 12
