I am sorry man, I understand coz I went through the same thing. For six months I was being billed for services I was not using. Finally I just had to change the debit card number. They are still saying I owe them two years later. Vonage SUCKS!!!

I tried to cancel my vonage account and the "supervisor kept me on hold for 132 minutes.....Then i called the customer service department after 2 hours to complain about the guy and then he miraculously got back on cleared his throat and hung up...and then sent me an email thanking me for deciding to stay with vonage I WANNA PUNCH THAT DUDE IN THE FACE

Vonage Suck! I don't recommend it to anyone. I had it for about 4 months now, and the service is so bad, so terrible, that I have called customer service 47 times in that 4 months period, Can you believe it!? Too many service interruptions. The first 2 weeks everything was great, and then the quality of phone service was so choppy that you can't have a conversation with anyone. If you considering in getting Vonage, I can guarantee you, YOU WILL REGRET IT! So what I did, I canceled my service.

their customer service is poorly trained, (very stubborn)

Vonage ported my number from AT&T a week before they could deliver the modem that's necessary to make it work.

Their customer service associate asked me to buy the equipment from a local store, and that they will reimburse the expense to me in future bills.

however, now they won't honor their word, and keep talking about the $40 limit policy.....

I am so ready to cancel all my 3 phone lines with Vonage,

I am also having trouble with vonage on the daily basis from day one starting 2 months ago. the connection is choppy, bad reception and it keeps knocking out my internet signal, i have gone a whole day without internet and phone service, they always run a speed test and reset my box, and they also sent me a new box and still have the same problems. the only suggestion the give is that i should call my internet pro. and have them check connection. they truly suck!!!!

One reason people have so much trouble canceling their account is because you actually get commission like making a sale for every customer you can stop from canceling. So of course it's not going to be easy to cancel and they don't want to assist you with canceling.

i currently work for vonage, and this is a typical response. I have heard soooooo many customers go on and on about how vonage has screwed them over ur for sure not the only one. i feel guilty every time i sign someone up with vonage because i know they're gonna get screwed over by vonage. best part is they have people working for them who know absolutly nothing and basically lie out of ignorance to the customers.... great company i work for.

well, actually vonage only offers home phone service, through the internet connection that you already have from any other intternet provider. It's called voip, you cannot have DSL through vonage.

i have worked for vonage. and i really know how much they suck and screw you over. its all the damn people in India that always screwed the accounts over. thats why vonage finally open some Call centers in the USA
