In response to @duwivie: As a teacher of over twenty years' experience, a former pupil of David Briggs and organist at one of England's greater churches, I would say the following:
1) No - it is simply not true that everyone can improvise. It is a gift; and, whilst inspoiration is of course helpful, neither is it true that one can simply spend 'a few hours at learning it'.
Make that many, many hours of listening and extensive practice (in different forms and styles, for example).
So wonderful to see a modern fugue played like this. so many organists now have to be fast.or introduce almost atonal subjects. nice to hear something that Widor and Vierne would be proud of.

As Sibelius exclaimed when hearing someone improvising on entering New College chapel: 'Artiste!'.

Wonderful !
A month ago I saw and heard this artist in concert at the Cathedral of Antwerp (B).
Where he improvised among other amazing improvisations a complete Symphony in the style of Vierne.
Real mastership !

@duwivie Yes improvisation is a matter of inspiration. But everybody can improvise. Just spending a few hours at learning it ^^
