  • If someone is on a jury that is unaware of jury nullification they do not deserve to be on said jury, or the USA for that matter. I still cant freakin believe pot laws havnt been jury nullified. Shows you how ignorant and stupid the American public is.

  • Jury Nullification is the LAWFUL way to take back your country. STOP TALKING ABOUT IT, AND DO IT !!!

All you have to do, is say I do not agree with this law, and start acquitting people for victimless crimes. That is the very reason the Countries are in so much debt. If a working society has a NON working head, the burden will be on the body. The head gets too big, the body can't hold it up. There is only 3 lawful laws to abide by. Do not harm anyone, cause property damage, or commit fraud.

  • The courts HATE jury nullification, because it means that just one person from the jury can decide that he doesn't like a law. They want to control the law and tell you what rules you should live by. I say TOUGH SHIT. Lets inform everyone about jury nullification to the point where the state becomes powerless to enforce anything, then we can create real, workable, polycentric law.

  • @fringeelements

    AGORA, ACTION!!

  • @fringeelements make another video please, please i need more of your videos.

  • This is bullshit. Juries have every right to nullify laws, and they should be notified of their rights. This is the only way to ensure justice in the face of unjust laws.

  • Jury Nullification is just about the only power that Americans have, because when we vote, we just elect corrupt politicians who do what special interests want. We don't make the laws. Corrupt politicians make the laws. So Jury nullification is a great thing. When I stated in voir dire that I would not apply any law I disagreed with, for the first time I felt like I had some governmental power. That felt good. I loved sticking it to the judge and the lawyers.

  • What I would love to see..

Is if this Elaine guy demanded a trial by jury..

And then they had to explain what jury nullification was, and how it may have been considered jury tampering.. TOO the jury..

I am sure he would be acquited after that one is explained!

  • If i were a defense lawyer..

I would urge my family and friends to hand out brochures on jury nullification..

Especially during trials that I think would help me out greatly :)

  • @thefakeyeti Excellent, I hope for this also. I've served 3 times, can't wait for a 4th NG verdict! FIJA :)

  • I gave a speech at college (not in a class but in a townhall-esque setting with other participating colleges from around the area). When I mentioned Jury Nullification and began to describe the process I saw the pens hitting the paper all around and I was a proud American! I hope it made a difference.

Thanks for sharing this video with the YouTube community.

  • This is nuts! How can he be charged with informing the jury of their rights? Was there a gag on lawyers as well from informing the jury? This needs to prompt a lawsuit at least, it sounds like the opposite of Miranda to disallow a group to know their rights.

  • My DSL shut down for two hours after attempting to watch this. The Yahoo-Google "experiment"?

  • no. probably not.

  • they are also going to tack on additional time to his sentencing over the guns, even though those charges have been dropped/dismissed. not to mention that jasons and bobs sentencing i was told by reno has been moved up, danny is being evaluated and renos case is at a standstill, he is seeking a bond/bail hearing but that may result in his retrial that was dismissed earlier.

once again thank you Dave on behalf of myself and the Gonzalez family

  • You guys should read "Constitutional Chaos" by Judge Andrew Napolitano. Napolitano, as you know, is an individualist, and he supported Ron Paul in the primaries. He's the only guy on Fox News I trust.

  • Lol! Simply informing the jury of jury nullification is now a crime?! Who passed that stupid "law"? I don't see anything about that in the Constitution. It says trial by jury but nothing about charging folks who simply inform juries of their rights. What about freedom of speech? What else are judges and legal folks gonna charge defendants with in addition to "Jury nullification is your right"?

  • When even judges become power hungry and don't stay independent and impartial, you know you've got tyranny. Judges, or at least federal judges, are supposed to be the last best check to an overreaching government, and if they agree with the other 2 branches on their usurpation of powers, then who else do we turn to for justice? The federal courts, courts of appeals, and the SCOTUS have agreed with moronic local, state and federal gov'ts on a number of issues where they should've checked power.

  • I always thought the whole jury duty thing was quite stupid. The gov't should just set up a branch or agency within their court system where anyone can sign up for jury duty if they want, but it shouldn't be mandatory just because you live in the US or a certain state or area. Don't these legal people who send out those jury duty letters realize people have LIVES? I don't wanna get off work so I can stay in some courtroom all day deliberating over some asshole who murdered or robbed.

  • I wonder... do they also send out jury duty letters to the people themselves who send out jury duty letters? Or are they somehow exempt?

Those who wanna do shit like jury duty, do it. But leave the rest of us alone. I'm not going to law school, and I'm not gonna be a judge, so don't bother me w/ legal shit, government. What they should do is make the unemployed do jury duty. I'm sure there are some lazy bums who intentionally mooch off the taxpayer that have nothing better to do.

  • Hmm..

    The problem with this is..

It may winde up being packed full of people like me, who would try to jury nullify anything that deals with drugs..

But maybe that would be a GOOD thing..

  • @thefakeyeti Well, that is in part how alcohol prohibition was ended. Juries started acquiting bootleggers left and right so the Amendment was nullified!

  • Judges are out of control. When you report for federal jury duty, they show a "welcome to jury duty" video that extols the systems and actually says the jury is the last check against tyranny and government out of control.

And then the judge promptly blows right past that by repeatedly telling the jury that they are to judge the facts and he will judge the law; he may not judge facts and the jury may not judge the law.

    It's a disgusting process.

  • And of course, it's a bald faced lie, because no juror can ever be punished for disregarding judicial instructions. If the jury votes to acquit, neither the judge nor an appellate court can reverse it, nor can the defendant be retried, and no reprisal can be made against the jury. A jury's right to nullify is absolute, and all statements to the contrary are unenforceable.

  • thank's dave

  • Looking forward to it! Thanks Dave!

  • there is such a thing as a speedy trial? Why has he not used this option?

  • Jury nullification is the whole point of trial by jury.!

  • I couldn't agree more. That's why the judge doesn't want "We The People" to know about it.
