I never knew this song exsisted without gwen stefani. but there is either a female or moby singing in falsetto in the background of the chorus. It's too faint to really discern whether or not it is a female singing or not...

I listened to the version with Gwen Stefani before this -- I was under the impression it's was the more popular version, but I'm glad to see other people prefer this version as well. Normally I'm a fan of duet performances, but I think she drowns him out too much in that version -- and it takes away too much of the song away from me.

Also, I think the last verse including the South Side tract is by far the most emotive verse in the song.

I guss I mistook Mastriota as a fan of Moby. Moby felt that Gwen Stefani added something special to the song or he wouldn't have asked her to join him on the remix. How could a "fan" substitute his own judgement for those of the artist? I guess everyone who rated Mastroita's comment highly and have criticized Stefani's presence on the remix feel they know Moby's music better than Moby himself.

Strangely enough, I very much liked the version with Gwen which was the one I heard first but I actually prefer this one. The vocals for the chorus is a bit better and has less of a commercial sound which was Mboy's point. Just my two cents. XD
