I never noticed til now but for 2002 the cel-shading in this game is really well done, i remember wanting to buy this game after i played the demo couldnt find it anywhere i was sad :( but 2 years later picked it up at a game shop for 5 bucks one of the best 5 bucks i ever spent lol
To do this battle when you're hovering around level 50 or so, use Dark Luceid for the reasons Rondart said. Keep the Lust Jaw arcana equipped on Gallows or Jet and use Virginia's Mystic ability to use Potion Berries on the group. Use a Gella Card and a Lucky card combined with Mystic as well. This will double the high exp and gella you get from the battle. Don't use Gatling because Power Trask counters with Bio Missile every time you do. He does a lesser counter for the Dark Luceid.

i just got the goddess idol from the suitcase i took it to the fallen sanctuary and went up the stairs and every place i try to use it, it always says No Effect. anyone know what to do? please reply

Umm well I forgot just got my game back yesterday anyway try to fight I had 33 when I went there and it all went down to 0 so basiclly I say try your best but you might have already beeten the part so if you did ignore this comment.
Power Trask is resistant from ALL elemental arcana attack. When I use Dark Luceid on normal monsters (and when I get it myself when fighting Luceid), it usually scores 0 DMG. But with this monster, it'll score about 6000+ damage.
You see, Dark Luceid's damage is relative to the number of elements that are either resistant, halved, or absorbed. The more the monster is resistant to an elemental attack, the harder Dark Luceid hits. Combine this with the tactic above and pwnage ensues.
This was a fun battle... :D But I usually just stick to Finest Arts to kick their asses. :D Especially the tougher bosses like Bad News, Kraken and Ragu O Ragula. :P
This battle is doable way below level 100 I killed it with 1 Finest Artes at like level 55 to 60.

Around the time you fight Lombardia since the dolls that summon random enemies/super boss's is required just to fight this said boss.

1 HP Clives at level 50 combined with Valiant, and Gatling does around 40K by himself. ^_^
