I got the chills when i heard knife prty at when the video start! it will always have a place in my heart. knife prty and change were the first songs i heard by the deftones. and they changed the way i listen to music, thats for sure.

i don´t think you can compare the deftones with other bands... especially limp bizkit. They were just named as one of the first "nu-metal" bands, but they evolved over the years, finding their own, unique sound, which is so incredibly wide. So they even do electric stuff like pink cellphone. And i like it. They´re hard, but at the same time atmospheric. chino´s voice is creating an awesome atmosphere. Thats what i like about Deftones, so they´re my favourite. ;)

In his older days (thinner he was better. And the Deftones aren't much a Nu-metal band anymore only experimental/metal mostly. Korn kinda dumded down the sound alittle over the years but are still kinda good just nothing really favorable going on much for Korn and Limp Bizkit destroyed that genre anyway for many reasons in the media aswell as the music. that band is ok for me on a few songs but it's the same stupid attitude for every song just about aswell as ranting way to much.

Deftones are my favorite aswell and I think I might not be clear on what you mean. I never said I have a stupid attitude (though that may be so) I was talking about Limp Bizkit's music. And Chino really was doing bad moslty because the weight. But now he is actually losing some check out more recent live shows. He has gotten better vocally and lost some which is good atleast he kicked his drugs. Hopefully it will stay that way. I wanna see Chino in music for as long as he can go.

I like both but korn has changed in a way I don't like them quite as much and as for comparisons of Nu-metal acts you can't really compare them. Chino is creative and apart of one of the most creative bands to date but his weight contributes to him screwing up live with a horse throat.

Nice Tribute! I wish I was Chino Moreno. He has got that "Cool" vibe. Deftones overall, is a great band. My favorite song from the deftones is Xerces. If it were any other band, I would probably get tired of listening to that song.
