  • Is there a weight belt that you would recomend getting as i am thinking of buying one but don't really know what or if there are any differences between brands and if there are any different types.

  • @imnotevenjoking1

I use a Spud Inc Dip belt after my leather one broke. I won't need to buy another one gain Spud Sell the best straps and belts. if you are looking for a belt that is chain free Iron Mind sells one and it uses climbing nylon strap. Its pretty pricy at 59 dollar but the spud belt is 39 so its really up to you those are the two best dip belts.

  • this is nothing compared with Zakaweli

  • @balzerly

What about you.... what do you do.......

  • @ExtremistPullup yah you're right at the moment you can do more but, I started few months ago with my calisthenics training and I guess in about 2 year I will be able to do much more, just my opinion. But I never tried pull ups with to much weights,

  • @balzerly

    Good luck and train hard.

Ive come along way since this video six years ago

  • @KINGARTHUR This response is a bit short sighted don't you think? He would do dips I'm guessing, but even then benching is not the be all and end all when it comes to chest and front delt development

  • Very very impressive! What was your bodyweight in that video?

  • @e1g3r nvm i see in the description

  • beast

  • wow dang. how much do you bench press?

  • @twocodfish

335 for 1 but I hardly train bench press

  • @ExtremistPullup well if you hardly bench press, how do you work out your chest?

  • @KINGARTHUR3341

Since I've taken a break from weighted pull up training I stated benching again.

Week ago did 225 15 times and 285 3 times. I haven't lost all my bench strength.

  • Beast!!!!!

  • I weight 89 kg and can do 13 weighted reps of 50kg. keep working bro

  • @VLKMLK

Thats pretty good. im up to 75 kg for 5 now.

  • @VLKMLK SURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE

  • That's insane bro

  • Big Boi lats in this vid

  • Damn dude.

    That's LEGIT

  • strong dude

  • damn. and I felt good about doing the same with a 45 plate hanging around my waist...now i feel like a bitch.

  • People who are disliking this have vagina. This guy is a beast!

  • sicccck! wouldn't have beleived it if i hadn't seen it. guess I can't brag about my doing them with 25lbs today now.

  • Comment removed

  • I do this (5 reps) now with + 150 lbs and I weight 10 lbs more.

  • @ExtremistPullup ur the hero of the year

  • you're an absolute beast... videos like this are why pull ups are my favourite exercise.

  • Man that's good. Really strong.

  • How much can u squat?

  • @MrMcMalice

    about Tree Fiddy

  • @ExtremistPullup dont you give dat monstah no damn tree fiddy!

  • @ExtremistPullup i was going to give you a thumbs up and then i found out you were the loch ness monster.

  • good job you're a tank

  • @ExtremistPullup I missed the 138.34 kg 165% part. I cant do dips with 300lb added, i can do dips with 110lbs added. You are strong and this is still impressive but i think you could of titled it better. Then again it will get you more views the way you have it. Your not the only one iv seen title your weighted pullup video like this. I just dont understand why you couldn't say "with 115lbs added". Anyways keep up the good work man this is still an impressive feat of strength. Im working on vids

  • Comment removed

  • i can do 300 lb parallel dips for sets of 10....lol. I hate when people add there bodyweight, its misleading.

  • how much can you deadlift/backsquat??

  • @nikolatesla08

Dead lift 425 lbs but I rarely dead lift.

  • That's very impressive. After four years of working out i managed to add 22 pounds and make 6-8. But when i started i couldn't even do one.

  • Damn your a beast man!

You inspired me to make my own pull up video!

    Check my channel Out

  • I can do the same total weight for 10 reps now, this video is really old.

  • impressive

  • shit son

  • wow the fact that you did it is awesome. the fact you did it with good form and the full range of motion amazing! thanks for the inspiration

  • that looked quite easy for you, i know the muscles must have been struggling but i thought you could push out another 2 reps.

  • i have a question,i do weighted pullups like urself..i dont know many who do them but my added 70 lbs seemed like alot until i found your videos, it really opened my mind to the limits of the human body..just a question dont know if u can answer it..but i do my weighted pullups with close hammer grip and it seems easier, but in your case you do them wide.how come?cause of the ROM and how much can you do close grip id love to see a video one day if you could thanks :) and should i switch to wide?

  • WOW and i was proud as shit to add 78lbs for 4- 5 reps. and i weigh less then you too, a measly 167lbs. i feel weak next to you! good inspiration man!

  • Hey man I'm 6'8" 310 pounds. How does it felt to be me for a few seconds?

  • @m5p944 you're a monster. lol are you an athletic 310?

  • @td31g I'm 35 now. I train since i was 16. Olympic weightlifting. Since my 30's I'm in strongman training. So yes I'm in pretty good shape but nothing like bodybuilders. Just dense looking muscles. I have never trained for look. But hey man I'm still skinny compare to guys in my team. The're around 350pounds and Terry Holands is around 390 with same height.

  • @m5p944 That's awesome. Do you take supplements or anything like that?

  • Five clean, proper, and awesome form pull up with an extra 115lbs load!

This is a true surviving Spartan right here ladies and gentlemen.

  • Very impressive !

I've always ignored weighted pullups and it's time to reach at least +1/2 of my BW

Do you do bar muscle up as well

  • i read my comment b4 and i sounded like a hater but dude i have to give you respect for it - cause your working hard and doing your thing- one of these days i'm gonna battle you though see if we can out do each other in work outs

  • Semper Fi

  • Semper

  • Wow. Props to you. That's fucking hard. I can do 6 reps with 10 kg on my back. lols

  • epic back muscles bro!

    I have a question though:

Do you find that training with weighted pull-ups increases the reps you can do unweighted?

  • @DntlB

For me weighted pull-ups won't increase my muscular endurance, but while doing them I haven't lost my ability to do 25+ reps even though I haven't trained for reps. If you want to increase reps train with high reps..

  • @ExtremistPullup Ah, okay.

Right now I can do around 27 (I'm quite light mind you), but I'm working towards doing a one-arm chin-up.

  • That's awesome.

  • absolutely insane

  • nice i can only add 30 pounds for 5 reps

  • Comment removed

  • Nice work!

    -ManTis

  • faakin A nice one --- hey were you a 305er before and then just lost weight? LOL

    very impressive.

  • Damn, you are strong.

  • No matter WHAT you do when you post a workout video on YT you're gonna get some bunghole saying A. "you're using a pussy amount of weight" B. "Your form is WAY off" (even if it's nigh perfect) C. "I'M 14 AND I CAN LIFT MOAR THEN U!". Even if I was as good as this guy you'd never catch me posting a workout vid just because of all the chest puffing asshats on here.

    Nice video man.

  • What model/brand cage is that which you are doing pullups on? I want to get something just like that, very minimalistic. Awesome vid!

  • @bboy4u

Weider Club C650 I bought it used for 100 dollars,Sam's / Walmart had it for 548, the bench it came with was garbage. so I bought a new Powertech bench.

  • @ExtremistPullup Thank you for that. I've been working on getting my pullups stronger, I understand that nothing beats a plain old pullup to build strength. I normally perform pullups (in addition to my normal routine) first, of about 7 sets of 3 reps at a time, and when I cannot do any more full reps during this 7 set routine, I simply perform the same amount of negatives until I reach 7 sets. I have noticed it gets easier, but I was wondering, what program or training method do you use?

  • your doing a slight kick to pull yourself over the bar SMH

i guess i gotta put a video out show you guys how its done

  • @MrTonyhash

Don't forget to add 115 pounds. Looking forward to your video.

  • @ExtremistPullup very nice look at him shut up. good job perfect form. im 15 i do bw +45pounds about 5-7 times so i understand what it is halfway thou.lol dont lisen to negative comments its perfect dead hang ,chin over, no swing.

  • @ExtremistPullup very nice look at him shut up. good job perfect form. im 15 i do bw +45pounds about 5-7 times so i understand what it is halfway thou.lol dont lisen to negative comments its perfect dead hang ,chin over, no swing. Are you russian by the way?

  • @MrTonyhash Um, I'm sorry. Even that he did the first two perfectly slowly, reaching the bottom completely and then clearing his chin both times, with all that weight on him extra beyond his normal body weight, I'd say that alone qualifies this comments to back itself up with a video. Only gymnasts and the military are the only two I can think of strong enough to pull of some crazy herculean shit like this.

  • @MrTonyhash

dude that form is pretty much perfect and you know it

  • Man.... sorry to sound vauge.. YOU'RE BIG!

  • thats well impressive!

  • Just... congratulations.

  • Fantastic! I've read that they very, very best (and we are talking about a small handful of people here) can do 5-6 reps at 2/3s of their bodyweight. I'd guess that very few members of that exclusive group are above #190.

    Again, this is terrific.

  • Good! Lol all I do is weighted pull ups and squats/box squats. That alone will get you in shape.

  • HELL YA!!!

  • where did u get that belt from?

  • @bengarris

bbdotcom but I broke it last week I got a new one and its great! Spud, Inc dip belt

  • Amazing, dude!

  • Nice. All legit. Impressive!

  • Beautiful. My hero.

  • @ExtremistPullup lol i dont get why 90% of weightlifters are below 6ft. short man syndrome i think

  • @DoNotClickUFreak

5'11 is only and inch below 6ft.

You don't get why 90% of weight lifters are below 6ft?

Maybe its because the average adult male in the united states is 5 feet 9.2 inches.

  • @ExtremistPullup no i get that the average height is below 6ft but in my gym ive never seen anyone above my height. and i mean jay cutler is 5ft 9 and coleman is 5ft 10 i think. just wondered why they're so short

  • @DoNotClickUFreak

    @A550RGY

maybe the both started out in Power lifting where short people have an advantage.

most 6 ft 1 people are Ectomorph's anyway.

  • @ExtremistPullup yer im 6" 1.5 and not that strong but im not an ectomorph. i.e i only bench 65kg at 17 years old and about 190Ibs, 27%bf but i have more muscle than ppl who are stronger than me. meh

  • Dude i can do 100lbs for 3 sets of 3. At a bodyweight of 168. Im going to try to get it to 3 sets of 10 throughout football. Its gonna be hard but its also fun to do.

  • those were some pretty solid pull-ups.. haha i thought i was doing well because i was able to do 3 sets of 3 (BW + 10, BW + 15, BW + 20 -- i weigh about 170). but now i see what i should be striving for

  • @ExtremistPullup how big are your lats man? from this video they seem pritty big.

  • @ExtremistPullup Impressive! I can only get 5 rep with 70 pounds plus.

  • you look short

  • @nuclearthreat545 lmao, and you sound dumb

  • Wow, that is the real deal man good stuff!

  • There's something wrong with you.

  • Would you say that adding weight to your pull ups is better than just doing more reps with no weight? Should you shoot for the 8-10 reps range for strength training? Thanks.

  • @enantiomer2000 Do normal pullups until you are able to do 16+ with GOOD form. Then from there slowly start adding weight.

  • @wrassling Thanks for the input. I can get up to 16-18 with OK form but will probably keep it up before adding weight. I am still getting sore with the sets I am doing so I must be doing something right I suppose.

  • @enantiomer2000 You're welcome. I actually started doing weighted pullups when I could do 15 reps. I converted to a 5x5 Max Weighted Pullup. When I stopped the strength block @ 50lbs 5x5, I was able to ease into 25 easily. It also helps that I wrestle, so I build strength via sport as well, but still. I also used a Gymnastic Interval that made crazy gains for about 1 month.

  • amazing work mate

  • hey man I have some questions about the Marine Corps would you mind a private message?

  • Amazing mate, I can do about 20 weightless right, I put 6kg in a rucksack and it felt like nothing, think im gonna start my weight ones at 15kg (35lbs?)

I do 10 consecutive sets 60seconds rest and then throughout the day if i feel like it, once u can do 5 with solid form youve got no excuse for getting good at them, and building solid arms and back.

  • how many pull u can do with out weight ..i do 70lbs on ankle with my weight its 230 5 times and do 24 pullup on avg

  • Pretty sick. Are you Army?

  • @bclancy95

    Former Marine

  • yo me hacia hasta 24 descansaba 10 seg y otras 20....hasta k un buen dia zas! lesion, a la mierda el pecho llevo un año y medio sin poder levantar ni medio kilo

  • @dalealpley

    ?????

  • damn, thats intense... if youre cheap like me and dont want to spend money on the weights, put a backpack on and fill it with books or anything else thats heavy. like a small child.

  • @collin711311

The dip belt was about 25 bucks and you can find weights cheap on CL.

For video purposes I prefer using plates and a belt. instead of a back back and weight vests. their are videos on here where people use weight vest and backpacks, its hard to determine how much weight they are actually using.

There are a few videos on here where I'm skeptical of their claims. 400 lbs for 3-5 reps.

  • dude your an animal!! good job!!

  • wr to buy them ?

  • nicely done good form

  • i want to see his lats...

  • nice. clean and smooth all the way

  • that's pretty bad ass

  • marine status, nice real pullups

  • Great job. I'm 171lbs and hang 100 lbs and can do 5 pull ups (271 lbs) pretty good for my body weight. Great job tho, man.

  • yeh, high weight low reps all fucking day

  • Lose some added weight and do more reps. That's a shitty workout.

  • @HowAboutSomeTruth1 Lol. Learn a thing or two about weight training.

  • @eveningninja

Soon as you learn to stop sucking so much cock.

  • worth watching

  • where can I purchase the weight belt with chain for the plates?

  • message sent.

  • @ExtremistPullup That was phenomenal. Very clean reps with brutal weight. How would you recomend doing weighted pull up workouts? Is it good, for example, to use a heavy weight with low rep sets or a lighter weight with higher reps?

  • @ExtremistPullup I would like to know where to purchase the weight belt also.

  • @atrain445613

    bodybuildingdotcom

100% Leather Dipping Belt Brand: Progryp

I upgraded the chain and clips, I also put one clip on each side.

  • thats crazy as hell

  • Such focus! Major respect.

  • 5 stars from me :D

  • are you sure you are human!!!

  • How much can you bench?

  • 335

  • Comment removed

  • BEast!!!!

  • non serve a nulla

  • I find it fun to lift weights.

  • maybe :)

  • pullupman

     very good pullups

  • guess i should have checked your channel first... you've got a vid of 1-arm pullups. nice job.

  • I'm guessing you can do a 1-arm pull-up? It seems to me that once you can pull 2x your bodyweight (maybe less?), then this becomes possible?

  • good job. stay strong.

  • Awesome, you must have strong lats. I can barely do 5, even without any weight attached.

  • i don't mean to be dis respectful but shouldn't you be able to do more

by the way I LOVE PULL UPS

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH I BUILD ONE

you have HUGE ASS ARMS good job

  • @BlackGorillaMonster ya I can do more but my form will suffer and I wouldn't be able to do 5 reps. This is my normal workout routine. The most I've done is 186 lbs at 200 their is a video on my channel.

  • nice man!

  • @BlackGorillaMonster "Able to do more"? The guy's only 190 and just did 5 beautiful reps with 305... isn't that enough? Ronnie Coleman probably can't do much more than that at his 305 lb bodyweight. lol

  • Yet Ronnie Coleman is bigger so who wins? Impressive lift ExtremistPullup, my bad to drag through your comments but I hate when people compare different fields of sport. Ronnie was a bodybuilder, his concern was with getting as large as possible, not to do pullups. That's like laughing at a doctor for not knowing how to do things an electrician does.

  • @heylookatmeok I wasn't comparing them in order to denigrate Ronnie Coleman. I did it because Ronnie is the most known standard of strength on the internet and I'm saying this 190 lb guy is probably almost the same strength as him in pullups.

  • he is not known for strength......he is known for biggest size.

the worlds strongest man is mariusz pudzianowski

  • @A550RGY

maybe the both started out in Power lifting where short people have an advantage.

most 6 ft 1 people are Ectomorph's anyway.

  • Holy cow nice job man!!!! I'm at +20lbs so far LOL

  • Good shit. I need to get me one of those belts.

  • BEAST

  • can u do a planche push up?

  • And I thought me using a single 45lb plate was good, excellent job..

I need to go practice now...

  • @6979camaros

And I need to hit the living room sofa and work on my beer belly.

Beer + Potato Chips + Professional Rasslin' on TV > Weighted Pull ups

--- Bo and Luke Duke, Hazzard County, Georgia

  • +45lbs is good, im sure this guy wasnt able to do this when he started. this guy is a beast and you will be too just keep going

  • How often do you train back?

  • twice a week

  • that's what i call lettin em hang bro

  • absolute beast

  • this dude is fuckin ridiculous, he goes all the way down too, good form and all, i'm still workin to get 4 sets of 10, what the fuck, his upper back must be like the andes mountains. back day is day after tomorrow but last week i got, 10 the first set, 5-6 the second, 3 or so, then 2 or maye even 1, i only weigh about 175 so i know i gotta step it up, but it takes so long to become a pull up king. slowly but surely. but this dudes crazy though.

  • Awesome video. Keep up it up! I was wondering what brand of gym rack you are using?

  • its a Weider Club C650 I got it on CL for 120 with bench and weights sold the bench and bought a powertech one. Sams club sold them a while back.

  • Fucken Animal man!!!!

  • ANIMAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!!

  • Damn, dude - nice work!

  • Nice work bro, that was impressive.
