Ive criss cossed the cuntry in mine and theres no better ride climbs hills and you never hear the motor strain. When you get on the highway theres plenty of power and she cruises at 80 without breaking a sweat where those 4s and 6 cylynders strain. plenty of room for luggage and a sound system and those seats like you never left the couch

@iluvmycity216 some of them are. this is a really basic model. I think the ones from the late 90s where better with more models the Deville the De Ellegance and the Concours. Theres also a DHS. These cars are wonderful powerful and beutiful an the fuel econmy isnt bad. for a such a big car and an cyl. Honestly, FWD on a full-size Cadillac sedan doesn't make sense. I mean, yes, some will argue it gives better traction for snow. But if someone were to spend their money on a luxury car like a Cadillac, and seek better all-weather performance, they ought to be able to afford AWD.
CTS, maybe... DTS - out dated design. They only reason these cars sell is the badging. Other than that, it's close to the ugliest luxury car made today.

heh. Don't make fun of me but... This car gave me a panic attack because when i was parking on the street a Caddilac Dts in front of me had it's reverse lights on with no one in it. Turns out the guy had just unlocked it.

I like the colour, but don't like the style of this car. I prefer the CTS. The 2011 Ford Focus Titanium series Hatchback has a better interior than this car.
The Mercedes Benz W140 S Class was one of the most over-engineered cars of it's time. This Cadillac DTS is one of the most under-engineered cars of it's time.

What an avesome car DTS used to be! I guess, since 2011 American - style sedans will disappear, then, GMT900 wil be replaced by something like Epsylon platform and in the end we all wil drive small two-door hatchbacks with one cylinder 0.1 liter torbo&eco - boost diesel engine&a big battery instead of rear sitting((
some of the styling even comes from chevy like the knobs for the climate controls the radio and the compartment for the cup holders and evern the beep when you open the door...
@yebu123 I am going to miss the Panther body Fords more than the DTS, to me Cadillac died in 1996 when the stopped making the big body RWD Fleetwood. We have built those Crowns/Marquis here in Ontario, Canada for over 30 years now, its a somber time, they were, and always will be true luxury and reliable cars. The last full body on frame, RWD V8 powered cars to rip up the roads....along side the Town Car witch was moved from the Wixom plant to here in 2009. They are becoming true collectors now

@joewillgo on the Ford Fleet site, the Crown Vic is still available for police departments (2010 got new VINs, no more P71, it's P7B). As for taxi businesses, it's the same. They have vinyl seats in both the front and rear (vinyl ftw lol), and an extra 6 inches rear legroom.
Crown Vic is available to govt and rental and taxi, the Town Car is great for limo conversions.
Where's the telescoping wheel and USB input on the stereo for a car in its class and price range? The interior is so light on so many new cars I'm sure they'll look like crap in a month or two.

The Deville/DTS has always been one of my favorite cars and my favorite Cadillac. The CTS is nice, but the DTS is the real Cadillac!!!! It's a shame that it's going away along with the STS. That trunk is huge!!!!
Love these cars. run a chauffeur service and bought a top of the line 2007 for $20K, only 26,000 miles. Amazing how fast they lose their value, but they r nicer than any foreign lux car, but id rather have the towncar
Well my boss owns a boatyard, and we run a service to drive people from our yard/office to the harbor. That way they can park by us and get a ride, or they can get picked up at home and taken to their boat.

The turn signal sounds and the warning chimes are identical to the 2010 Chevy Cobalt... Personally, I wouldn't want to buy a Cadillac that sounds like a Chevy, just sayin'.

2011 is also the last year Ford is making the Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis (already discontinued with end of Mercury), and Lincoln Town Car.
It's really unfortunate, the Crown Vic makes is great for police and taxi use, and the Town Car is great for limousines.

The DTS is a joke. Look at the 2011 CTS-V Coupe. Really cool and rear wheel drive. Worthy of the Cadillac name.

wow this car is soooo old school tech....4 speed auto...and a v8 only putting down 275hp 295 tq...my accord puts down 271hp and 250tq and its a 3.5L V6 not a 4.6....this things is old school and not in a good way

The Deville/DTS has always been one of my favorite cars and my favorite Cadillac. The CTS is nice, but the DTS is the real Cadillac!!!! It's a shame that it's going away along with the STS. That trunk is huge!!!!

Love these cars. run a chauffeur service and bought a top of the line 2007 for $20K, only 26,000 miles. Amazing how fast they lose their value, but they r nicer than any foreign lux car, but id rather have the towncar

Well my boss owns a boatyard, and we run a service to drive people from our yard/office to the harbor. That way they can park by us and get a ride, or they can get picked up at home and taken to their boat.

Thank you for sharing Kyle. Sadly, the last DTS rolled off the line this week and the Northstar V8 was discontinued this week too. This era of this kind of Cadillac is over. Lets have hope for the up coming XTS.

The turn signal sounds and the warning chimes are identical to the 2010 Chevy Cobalt... Personally, I wouldn't want to buy a Cadillac that sounds like a Chevy, just sayin'.
