I love the beauty of the dance. There are some VHS Tapes on Ebay bid starting @ .99 the auction ends Friday Nov.28, 2008 for anyone interested. They even have this super rare video of Giselle from 1977! Item #270308614160
The thing is that this Albrech really seems to be in sort of in love, he realises after he made all the mess, so it makes sense them that Giselle as a wili doesn´t want to kill him..Oh my God in real life as well I think I would go mad for him, anyway, LOL
Hahaha!! I love that- Hail to Queen Makarova! She really was a Queen on the stage. I saw her Giselle, Swan Lake, Coppelia, Don Quixote, etc. I was very, very fortunate indeed. I was also lucky to have seen her rehearse in the studio, when I was a student at ABT School! I'm sorry that you weren't able to ballerinette, but if it's any consolation to you, these videos really do capture her magnficent artistry! Finally, something to be grateful about being an Old Bag :)).
Thank you for posting the "Diìvina" Natasha.....

Ha! I love Albrecht throwing the sword - I've never seen it done like that before.
It's the moment whre he realises his game is up - and he shows it perfectly in that one gesture.
Amazing.
