I remember getting a tour of one of these after it landed. It was at a small non-towered air port and it landed during an air show. I was in my Civil Air Patrol blues uniform looking around it and several people asked if i was the pilot. It was funny cause I was 16 at the time. Eventually the captain signaled me to come on in. I don't care if its old school, it was awesome! Would love to fly one.
@JonPurdue7 id take anyone of them. all i have is an ultralite. tbh though id like to have a dc3. i like retro aircraft. these i like too but still, i have a soft spot for retro , antique aircraft
Gulfstreams are neat aircraft, even the older ones. Wish I could fly one of those! Private miniature airliner. And you can retrofit any aircraft with a glass cockpit, it's becoming cheaper all the time.
Is the glass cockpit kind of like WonderWoman's transparent jet?lol XD
No, but seriously, is it like Head Up Displays and items like that?
I have always been fascinated with aviation. Also, what is the top speed and what is the range/radius of the GulfstreamIII? I have always wanted one since 1983, or at least to fly one someday maybe. How is Allen Paulson doing? I saw him in a magazine ad for the GulfstreamIII in June 1983.
You know what??? I used to be a First Officer of an FH-227 and Captain in a DC9-32 for several years. After that I became an F-100 captain in my airline, and you are very right. I wish I've flown the 727 but it never happened. Old planes give you piloting skills, new ones permits you to enjoy all that learning.
What is the sound at 1:28 ?

To mkenyakabisa, The action performed at 2.26 was the stick shaker test.
This device is used to prevent the aircraft from stalling if the pilot (while in panic)
continues to pull back on the controls in an emergency. Stalls usually happen
at high angle of attack while moving slow, the device pushes the controls forward, lowering the angle of attack, helping the aircraft gain control.

Go to a flight school. There are many in Ontario Canada. Just stop by your local airport and ask for information.
