  • Strictly matches for me.

  • I really like the interior of that room - does that style have a name?

  • these shit adverts are getting longer and longer and youtube is getting shitter and shitter!

  • i'm convinced, everyone on Expertvillage is an idiot. Where do they find these people?

  • @joethemusician I've been reading up on how to start smoking cigars. Do you have any tips? According to the few sites I've seen so far, this guy seems to be doing the basics right. Is it because he's using a lighter as opposed to a wood match? And could you recommend a guide for starting?

  • @joethemusician Explain....

  • wood matches or zippo only

  • wood matches or zippo only,

  • wow horrible lighting , i don't care what you say.

  • wow horrible lighting

  • for me Cigars are always Mouthwatering.... Not icecreams..

  • I light my Joint this way =O

  • when you make a video on how to properly light a cigar, and then do it wrong, you are a foo! you are supposed to also toast the middle of the cigar also, not puff in flames. that's just fucking lazy

  • The end of the cigar shouldn't burst into flames like that, a joint lights like that.

  • Personally this cigar was lit far to quickly, I prefer to gently toast the foot for a longer period of time and light it gradually. Usually takes me a couple of minutes.

  • inhaling cubans.. now that's the shit

  • your gay

  • What kind of cigar was he holding there?

  • sloppy lighting..shouldnt be that burnt

  • What kind of lighter was he using?

  • @MrJ567 a butane lighter, they are more expensive ($24+ for a good one with a lifetime warranty where i am), but totally worth it. They light even on the coldest and windiest days.

  • Oh yeah, I've heard about those. Never actually seen one before though, best lighter I have is a zippo.

  • I prefer blunts over cigarettes or cigars.

  • @krupu who doesnt

  • blunts are cigars...

you can gut one and then roll it into a big joint if you want, but there's a pretty damned big difference between a philly and what this guy has

blunts take too much damned weed though. those little cigarillos are better imo

  • ... Will Wheaton?

  • I smoke ciggs. I have one every 2 - 3 days. Today i tried a puff of a peach flavor cigar and i never wanted a cig again. Cigars saved me. I just enjoyed smoking, but cigars are so much better! The smoke is thick and delicious. This video makes me want one even though the guy kinda messed upp.

  • Another joke, wow your wrong again, "the construction was wrong" BS...you lite the cigar poorly...you had the cigar at multiple distances away from the cigar this caused the poor lighting, your laughable..

  • Lol...I was just about to say the same thing....Yea blame it on the "cigar's construction"....WTF!

If he didn't say anything nobody would have noticed that damn thing was uneven.

  • Actually, he's right. It is because of the construction of the cigar. That happens to me too sometimes. As far as I could see, he lighted the cigar evenly.

  • he *lit the cigar evenly. just wanted to throw that out there

  • Haha, sorry! I'm from Sweden and not from an englishspeaking country. Thanks for the correction.:)

  • Your spelling is laughable.

  • cigarettes are short, hot, dirty, and filled with chemicals. They use small chopped up pieces of chemically infused tobacco. Their purpose is exploitation of nicotine, not taste. A real, hand-made imported cigar is a whole different bird. If your only experience with "tobacco" is with ciggs, you have not experienced real tobacco. Cigar smoking is a ritual. Everything from purchase to visual inspection, to cutting, cold tastes, and lighting, and finally smoking. Cigars are works of art.

  • completely ture ma ni66a

  • @generfeld Like a good wine or a fine bottle of whiskey. I don't smoke cigarettes, but have smoked cigars and it is a very pleasurable experience.

  • @toothpik00 nice!

  • @generfeld im more of a sheesha man myself haha

  • @generfeld depends, if you roll youre own, the ciggarrette is much purer.

  • @litlemadguitarist only if you buy good quality tobacco.

  • @generfeld Well, depends on the quality of the tobacco. Rolling tobacco is much better. Rolling fine tobacco in blunt wraps is better, but if we are allready on blunt wraps, I'd probably roll me some green, know what I mean?

  • @generfeld thats the reason i smoke only american spirit :>

  • @generfeld good on you =) but u shouldnt discriminate people for smoking ciggaretes. i know they are discusting . but u cant blame people for smoking. everyone starts when they are young. my gengeration had no warning what so ever. passing around ciggaretes when i was growing up was like passing around lollies. our parents did it and our parents parents did it. so forth. now i see all these kids out there smoking today. and it really gets me. they were warned and we werent. i just dont get it

  • @loljokes1231 true!

  • respect the cigar

  • "It's not a cigarette! It's a cigar." Exclaimed Snake

    "Ahh, same thing." replied Sigint

    "It's NOT the same thing!"

    ahhh....cigars are better

  • Metal Gear Solid kicks ass.

  • I believe that is a s.t. dupont lighter, for those who were wondering. cigarbunch does a great review on it.

  • u should never dis a cigars construction!!!

  • holy fuck thats a nice ass lighter

  • You dont smoke a cigar like a cigarette idiot.

  • Just go away. Please. It's not even worth explaining the difference between cigarettes and cigars.

  • lol true that.

    Good observation.

  • no cigars are meant to flare up, and then you blow on them to see if it's an even light, you're an idiot

  • yeah, flare up, not catch on fire

  • yeah after heating the foot WITHOUT drawing and getting an even burn started (only some spots will be glowing but the entire foot is still heated at this point) then you complete the light with a few hefty draws...with the flame heating the foot. This is pretty powerful and it does flare up...then you blow on the foot to make sure its even

  • He said don't jam the lighter into it. Are you completely brainless?

  • lmao

  • Dude, I've been lighting cigars the same way for a long time. That rarely happens except when there is a problem with the cigar itself. It started burning a line right up the cigar. That wasn't a lighting problem.

  • cybertrader your an idiot mfdriggs is right it wasnt a lighting problem it was the cigar itself some canoe and some dont

  • this man is great... nice narrated and big help for people who wat to start smoking cigars. this man is like a great teacher. Great job !!!

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • I want to become a cigar smoker, but I live in the UK and am unsure whereto purchase them. Any advise?

  • You should be able to order online, unless the UK has a law against it. It is cheaper online and you have a huge selection.

  • This is Matthew. If you want to know where to buy online, send me a message. For some reason, my comment won't post.

  • OK, i need help, or maybe not, but whenever i light my cigars they don't burn like i would expect, they burn so that there is a point on the end not flat, im not sure if this is normal

  • This is Matthew. What you're describing is called "coning." This is when the wrapper and binder burn faster than the filler. The result is the foot of the cigar coming to a point. The common causes of this are mismatched tobacco, a poorly rolled cigar, heavily veined tobacco, or uneven moisture in the cigar. Smoking it slower might help, so pace yourself a bit, and don't discard your ash as much. Other than that, there isn't much you can do about the construction of the cigar.

  • Also, if the problem is uneven moisture, aging the cigars in your humidor for a couple of months before you smoke them may help.

  • thanks alot man! great help

  • nicley narrated but poor video. I mean they hardly zoom in to see

  • Hey, the chair i built fell because the wood was bad, not 'cuse i suck.

  • good, you got a better cameraman this time.

  • Nice video, well done.
