Jesus as well as all of us are his sons.

Lets do the math: [It takes many hours to die by crucifixion] The crucifixion (9am/the 3rd hour); darkness covers the land (noon/the 6th hour); Jesus said "It is finished" (3pm/the 9th hour). He laid in the Tomb (6pm/by the Sabbath). He rose (5-6am-before/at dawn) see John 20:1. Therefore, Day 1 is Friday; Day 2 is Saturday and Sunday never really arrived since he rose before/by dawn Sunday (that's 2 days at best; but really 1&1/2 days). See panel #2.

Jesus reassured the disciples during a period of doubt and as he was leaving them; in God's house are many mansions (figuratively) & he said that he is going to prepare a place for them & he will receive them where he is (his figurative mansion in heaven). They still doubted & he reassured them & said that they knew where he was going & knew the way (heaven, figuratively speaking). Thomas, misunderstanding his figurative speech, (see panel#2)

Jesus answered (figuratively, since he was speaking figuratively): "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me." Panel #3: THIS DOES NOT SAY HE IS GOD. Jesus final words: "I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me , he does the works" (God does the works in Jesus & also in all of us) John 14:10. Another key point: All prophets are the way the truth and the life during their time (Moses was the way & the life during his time & so was Abraham & Noah, etc. THERE ISN'T ANY UNEQUIVOCAL STATEMENT SAYING HE IS GOD.

THIS IS NOT AN UNEQUIVOCAL STATEMENT ASSURING JESUS AS GOD: John 10:30 "I & my father are one..." Jesus was on Solomon's porch & the Jews questioned him (are you the Christ); he replied - that what he does is done in his fathers name & 'he & his father are one' (meaning in purpose, spirit & intent not physically). They then attempted to stone him for Blasphemy - calling himself God. See panel #2.

Panel #2 -HE REPLIED: is it not written in your law that ye (or WE) are gods, children of the most high (Psalm 82:6; 'ye/we are all Gods').He did not say he was God; the 'I & my father are one' is clarified by this statement at the end of the passage (do not read out of context). Many want to stop at the passage about 'I & my father are one' without this clarification or without reading the full context (re-read the whole passage-John 10:23-35). Also, God has many sons(Psalm2:7,Exodus4:22, etc)
