they seam to make high pitch noise that harm the ears... the twist florescent ones you need to watch for! They are WEAK and need reflectors to work better and you usually double up on them to get the light you need. Soon you will hear of millions complain of hearing a high pitch noise in the ears and we all know that makes hearing damage.

so if you have a sound in the ears higher than after a rock concert if you were next to the speakers...see how lots of such bulbs in a house produce sounds!
