Whem Tommy destroyed Duran he tought could do the same with Hagler, because the marvelous fought 15 rounds with manos the piedra. Unfortunately Tommy's chin wasn't fit for middleweghts (remember Roldan who made him wabble and Barklay who ko'd him).
Hearns was defeated by the dynamic Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvelous Marvin Hagler. However, when he pummeled Duran within 2 rounds in 1984, he proved why he should be mentioned with the greats of the 1980s. His right cross, speed and killer instinct are qualities of a champion.

It was the most memorable fights in the eighties.
Tommy Hearns had Marvin Hagler in all sorts of trouble in the first round, he could've knocked Marvin, Tommy.
But as we all know Hearns and his chin was exposed when Hagler knocked him out in the third.
