T-Pain was on "Ride" in the first place, but they replaced him with Trey Songz. The remix leaked with T-Pain's vocals on it. He was then replaced with Trey Songz again for the video and album version of the remix.

I don't know what the reason was exactly, but that's what happened. It happened with Mike Jones' "Cutty Buddy" as well.

It must have been something to do with the lables not being able to get it settled, or something.

The version that initially leaked (OF THE REMIX) - which is in this video - isn't official. They put Pain there, in stead of Trey Songz, but Trey Songz is officially supposed to be there.
