  • That dog will never catch a rabbit, but he can sure try.

  • Wheatons were bred for work, and some do still hold a bit of working breed in them, rabbits keep them fit and on their toes, they were used mainly as a herder and a hunter years and years ago and were used for going to ground and coming face to face with badger, which most could handle and come out on the winning end.

  • This guy is awesome at finding rabbits. The dog not so much.

  • My wheaten chased rabbits and gohpers all his life (we live in the country). Poor boy never caught one.

  • @spriddlez It's their enthusiasm that is so entertaining.

  • I have two wheatens and I would never let them off leash like this. You can hear traffic in the background of the video; was there a road nearby? these dogs will chase anything on to the road and get run over.

  • yea very big wheaten what the weight?

  • I believe he's just over 50 lbs

  • Has he ever caught one? I hope he just chases them for fun. Cute video.

  • yeah he is around 20" at the shoulder

  • Your wheaten has got really long legs.... quite a tall dog!
