I love MANY new bands, but none are "core". So don't think I just cling to the Old bands. All Shall Perish, Faceless, and BTBM are all talented bands, will probably still be around when Carnifex breaks up in 3 years. The reason they attract Scene kids is their Core elements. Breakdowns are simple and poppy-thus the scene kids. In Metal it's considered a cop out for failure to actually write brutal riffs. So you can see why they catch flack. Carnifex is pure shit.

I love MANY new bands, but none are "core". So don't think I just cling to the Old bands. All Shall Perish, Faceless, and BTBM are all talented bands, will probably still be around when Carnifex breaks up in 3 years. The reason they attract Scene kids is their Core elements. Breakdowns are simple and poppy-thus the scene kids. In Metal it's considered a cop out for failure to actually write brutal riffs. So you can see why they catch flack. Carnifex is pure shit.

Also like i said-the reason we were flipping them off is because they had the audacity to call us pussies because we weren't Fag Dancing. They had the misfortune of opening for two VERY superior bands-Obituary and Unleashed so yeah they were playing for Metalheads and not Corekids but they still expected us go wild. We didn't and they had a tantrum which is very unprofessional and bitchy. Before they did that we were just all standing there politely praying for them to STFU.
