  • I don't play Soldier of Fortune, but do live a few miles from Portmeirion and this map is incredibly accurate! You've put a lot of work into this and it shows! Fantastic!

  • Ahh, good times on sof2, lol. This map is the best.

  • In wich folder I exactly have to put those maps in?

  • fantastic lol The village is also in Second Life, look me up but this is wonderful rofl

  • This looks absolutely stunning, thanks for making it and uploading.

I just wish I knew how to convert it for Elite Force...

  • absolutely amazing.. i cant leave this page without leaving a comment.. the map is put together so well. truly an enrichment to sof2. this could only be done by an unbelievably skilled artist. you, massimagnus, are a legend

  • Know every inch of Portmeirion and its very accurate. Difficult to do as well as very little of the site is flat - as the backs of my legs can verify!!

  • what a small mind you must have dont you know that when you resort to foul language you defeat yourself I am not surprised that you don't understand the prisoners brillance try using your mind instead of your foul mouth

  • cool map, ive played this... shame about the low FPS though :-(

  • the white things are from the show the prisoner if anyone tried to escape from "the village" they would bring them back.

great work on putting in the sounds of the intercoms

  • what are those big white things? ROFL

  • It´s called "rover". For more informations lokk for "The Prisoner" or "Nummer 6"

  • What the fuck are you on about? You've got a lot to say for someone who has overly-feminine fan art for White Horses as one of your favorite clips. I wouldn't consider "The Prisoner" sacred by any means either, unless "sacred" means "somewhat-overrated kitsch entertainment".

  • Thanks a lot for your comments! :D

I can assure that no GPS data or other kind of existing 3D data has been used in the making of this map.. I started from the blank page, my imagination ( I have a lot :D) and helpful info and hints about Portmeirion terrain and buildings from prisoner fans sites found around the web (lots of interestings photo and frames form the TV serie). I just filled up with my imagination what I haven't found .

  • my GOD. I've been to Portmeirion several times and the likeness is uncanny in places. How the hell did you get the info to make this map!? well done.

  • Great work! It says you haven't been to Portmerion, yet everything pretty much seems to be in the right place. What map data did you use? Did you import some kind of geological survey data for the terrain? This kicks ass!

  • Excellent!

  • Amazing work! Superb detail and realism and you've never been there? As someone who has visited at least three times a year for almost twenty years, I'm stunned and thoroughly impressed. Brilliant.

  • Wow! Exceptional work, with so much detail! Very close to the real place, and amazing for someone who's never been there. Textures and colours spot-on, and the licences taken with scale work well too. Thanks very much for sharing this cool video!! :D
