Many thanks. The last time I took the bus from Jordan Road terminal to Shum Shui Po was when I attended Grade 1 at Wah Nam Elementary School on Wai Ching Street 57 years ago. This bus ride recalls my good old days and the many streets I have walked on. Thanks also for the music to start this exciting journey. Cheers from Canada.
No typo error, exactly 57 years - still remember a bit about that school. I used to twist and turn my small shoulders to squeeze through the crowded humanity on Nathan Road. It would be a tough exercise for the old bones when I come back for visit.
Just to add that #12 bus in those days used Shanghai St which had 2-way traffic. The #2 bus started from Star Ferry terminal and travelled on Nathan Road to Lai Chi Kok Rd ending at Yen Chow St (police station) beyond which was still inaccessable military and few industrial lands. #12 bus and few others continued as far as Lai Chi Kok amusement park and that's as far as city buses travelled.
