@pintohorse10 I don't know for sure as I have hatched all of mine from eggs. I think that it would start to recognize and interact with you. You should think about whether you will want to release the duck into the wild or keep it as a pet. The more it grows accustomed to living with humans the harder it will be to reintroduce to the wild. The ducks in the video grew up together and over time detached from me and moved into the wild very naturally but one we raised by itself was more difficult.
I wish I had a tub full of ducklings........ They're so cute!
