@LittleChicken117 Sure, there is a zombie mod for Arma 1 and also for Arma 2. If you use Arma2 together with Arma2 operation Arrowhead this zombie mod should work. But I´m not sure if the zombie addon/mod works with Arma 2 O.A. when you use it as a stand alone game.

The AI IS bad. I was doing the Jackal or whatever skirmish where you have to parachute in and sabotage the base. An enemy walked ON me but because I was prone, standing still and in a shadow during night time, he didn't detect me. I was in an open area INSIDE the base.

@Terrr05 Most of the enemy soldiers doesn´t have night-vision goggles. Only the Speznas (Special operating units) are equiped with such goggles. The enemy unit couldn´t detect you in the darkness.

@ganimed1976 Yes, because the AI is bad. If a guy stands on my head, even if he's BLIND he'll still know he's stood on something. I don't mean to be cynical, but a man feels completely different to a rock, so it's pretty obvious that the AI is bad. There was also a few occasions where an AI would magically detect me, even though his buddy 2 feet away didn't and I was behind them. As fun as the game is, the AI really horrible.

@Terrr05 So put A.I. settings to maximum in the editor. It is very hard to stay alive with A.I. skills on maximum. The A.I. will see you sooner and they are smarter. Try it out ;)

@ganimed1976 I didn't say it was easy, I said it was bad. Jump in a chopper with the hardest AI as you gunner and watch it fail horrible in comparison to a human gunner. The AI is bad, no matter how accurate it's fire is or how far it's FoV is, the AI is dumb. There is a big difference between good, smart AI and AI that shoot you as soon as it's possible for them to shoot you. The latter is basically just an aimbot.

Ati Radeon 4850 512mb 500GB HDD 500watt power supply dinosour case and a Gigabyte motherboard, I built it myself and runs arma2 Very high, (high with frapps some things very high and 5k distance) and Operation arrow head runs Very high/3k Distance, with fraps, High/3k distance. Not bad

@howen123456789 Yeah, in real the Javelin Launcher comes in a carrying case, together with that aiming monitor device (that huge black thing). This device must be installed before the missile launchers can be fired on a target.

@xSBxUltrax The AI is just standing there because I ordered them to show no reaction over setting the waypoints on "secure". I do this because this is a weapons demo and not a demonstration of how the AI is reacting to the enemy. If you think AI is bad, go put the AI skills to maximum. The AI will kick yu in the ass.

Warm bodies are black and the cold is white, but they just change the colors because people are more adapted to that.

I didn't reely have the money for that now, newegg had a special going on too. Now Newegg F***** up my order! I got Overnight shiping standard from fedex, later did I find out that they don't deliver on saturday unless newegg says so! But newegg does not allow you to make that option, even though it'll be of the expense of the customer, not newegg. And to add more gas to the fire, it's labor day on monday, sooo no package, and to add even more gas, tuesday nobody can be home to pickup my package

@ygierick I use AMD processors since many years now. I once had an intel CPU but than I changed to AMD because of the lower price. I´d never regret that decision. AMD processors are 10% less powerful but they are 40% cheaper in price....that´s a good argument for me to buy AMD. ;)

@ygierick Good Choice!!! This CPU is great and not that expensive at this time. but let me tell you that Phenom X4 9850 is from the older series, for mainboards using socket AM2+.

The newer generation CPU´s had only three numbers like 940, 955, 965 an so on. They work with the faster 45nm technology instead of 65nm like the 9850 CPU.

But it´ll not make such a big difference. Before I changed to my AMD Phenom X4 940 I had an X4 9550 CPU with 4 x 2,2Ghz which was also very fast.

@MsTetrapak No I havn´t. This video was made on the release day of that game....at this time there was no sound-mod available for that game. These are the original sounds. Maybe you use a sound mod because you installed ARMA2 O.A. into the ARMA2 folder as a addon. Do you use a sound mod in your regular Arma2 game?

they behave in exactly the same manner.

you can tell them not to shoot, and thats one thing, but theyre not running for cover either.

"never fire" is one thing, but retarded ai is another.

ganimed, in arma 2 AI was NOT able to hear suppressed weapons.

although eventually they did spot you if u kept on firing.

In Operation Arrowhead suppressed weapons are no longer audible to the enemy. This opens completely new aspects for mission-makers. Previously, it was hardly possible because the enemy could hear suppressed weapons as they were non-suppressed.

The tracer effects of the 30mm GAU cannon of the A-10 are also nicer as in Arma2. Or look at the flares of the AH-64 Apache chopper.....IMHO this game is a master piece and looks very realistic......the new textures are eye candy :)
