Cool. Prof. Unfortunately in Malaysia history had only been written on a time scale. Students (not of their will) are made to memorize events more than understanding the occurrence of those events. I guess the responsibilities should not be shouldered by historian alone. Sociologist and Anthropologists should be involved. Just look at our National Museum. What history lesson could we possibly get from there?

We have a rich history and many do not realise it...

This is interesting to understand the beginning of Malaysia from the pre Malacca sultanate until what Malaysia is today. Perhaps by recognising the original habitant and the migration of various ethnic groups into Malay Peninsula, Borneo and Singapore, we can understand and appreciate our existence better. Mutual respect and acceptance can then foster us into better Malaysian according to the established constitutions. Prof Khoo is a jewel of Malaysian historian. His lectures to be archived.
