It IS an open-world game, just not the GTA-type free roam. You can answer a call from the bureau and go investigating, or answer the call and explore the city before you go investigating. :-)

@TheClever69 PC gamer? oh, poor you. I don't thing this game will be ported to PC, at least not for the next year or so. Look at GTA IV, it took a long time to come out for PC. Red Dead Redemption hasn't even been ported to PC yet. This game will most likely take about 10 months for Rockstar to port it to PC.

@rickwilliam95 Free roam doesn't mean killing everyone and blowing stuff up. It means being able to go where you want and not be funnelled down a single route.

I reckon if you end up rampaging through the streets you'll get demoted or just put in jail. Either that or the game just won't let you go apeshit. Then again I think the idea is that you don't WANT to go on a rampage because you get into the story and into the groove of being a detective.
