I started listening this band when I was 16 for me there was no band no music better than this. Silverstein with their meaningful lyrics. Now i'm 20 I heard a lot of bands and genres out there from punk to death metal, grind core, and more.

But there's no band that makes me feel like this. I know there are more heavier stuff more br00tal riffs but for me this is all I need.

@MJR221 Totally agree. Only album I was a lil dissapointed in was Arrivals and Departures. WTBIEF, DTWF, and SitS are prolly 3 of my fav albums all time. Style hasn't even changed that much. Shane's screams got a little better from first to second album. Silverstein is repsonsible for getting me into this genre with nastyy breakdowns, brutal screams mixed with the right amount of clean vocals. No band does it better and no fucking way have they sold out!

It's a great song, I beleive the best genre to place them in is 'post-hardcore' but I have heard them placed in "emo" (short for "emotional-hardcore punk"), hardcore, screamo (which is actually a dead genre), and rarely metal. They've released at least one concept album besides regular albums.

Most post hardcore has some screaming. However, 30 Seconds to Mars, Escape the Fate, From First to Last (title album), From First to Last, (now) Hawthorne Heights, MCR, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Taking Back Sunday, and others use screaming maybe three times in an entire album at most, usually less, almost always at the climax if used.

Bring Me the Horizon and Metalica and Silverstein are all of differnet genres that include screaming.
