@Heliox4PL It's quite possible that the camera being used doesn't pick up additional colors and it just looks like a red ball. The other lights on the mountain had to be a couple of vehicles, they are clearly on the ground, fading in and out when going under trees.

I've actually seen stuff like this. It really does genuinely look like U.F.O.'s, but since it's near a military base, the most likely explanation is this:

Military bases often fire off signal flares for drills. That could be what this is.

Another thing to keep in mind: They might be aliens, but their ships still aren't just points of light. They have to have some substance to them, and these just seem to be points of light.
