All well and good but this (imo) totally lame song is in sharp contrast to the liveliness and chaos that 40ies swing and swing dancing embodied (and which the nazis hated - I think they would have banned this song because of the lyrics, but would have fallen asleep listening to the music).

The Nazis didn't just want to tell people what they can or can not listen to on the radio (like the current big government nazi types would like to do, called it government enforced "balance" or "fairness") they went further the actually took radios away from people.

And for those who take offense at me calling the current controllers of the media, and all three brances of DC "nazi-types". Just one way they want to take away our freedoms.

When the government decides that someone makes "more than their fair share" of income and takes a huge percentage way, they are forcing labor (measured by income) for no compensation.

That's slavery.

It's great if you've already made your fortune (like thousands of liberals in the media, DC etc)

When we watched this in history class, at 22 seconds when he drops the radio and it smashes it was right at the end of the period so the next day we rewound it and watched it 2 more times. the class loved it, bu over all the movie was great, on of my favourites!
