  • Does this have midi?

  • Is this possible to use in a rock band or should I stay away from electronic sound.

  • @numanuma20 It's music, anything is possible.

  • Hi man ! thanks for the tutorial i just got got an ESX1 for Christmas and your video helped a lot , im in to the process of loading samples and i have read the manual and i load them successfully to the internal memory but once i try to play them they just sound like a fuzz no matter how many i tried they are all . aiff or .wav files, both giving me the same result.. help would be much appreciated ...

  • when you make beats on da electribe, can you record them directly into ur laptop or PC? Hope someone can answer me that please!

  • @marcotko987 yeas of cours you can

  • hi does xd cards work with a xd to smartmedia adapter with the esx-1 or do i have to go and try find a extinct smartmedia card somewhere .......any experience using xd adapter on esx-1

  • Nice piano sample on 3:00 can you told me name of song where you sample that? :)

  • part 2?

  • Part 2 is called:

"Korg Electribe ESX1: Program That Funky Music, Whiteboy"

  • cool thank you, i'll be sure to check it out, the first part was pretty informative

  • Actually the ESX has 16 note polyphony. The upside to this though, is that you can resample infinitely.

  • so i can only use 9 saples wtf !?

  • to strike hard at his empty head please:):):)

  • whats your opinion on the compression effect? Noisy as hell isnt it!

Ive noticed that if you use the compression together with the filter on the front panel you'll get tons of white noise.

  • It's shit. I think that many of the Electribe FX all are crap. Exceptions: Delay, LP Filter, HP Filter, Grain Shifter, Decimator. Any other is too raw, crap, cheap,

Compare the Reverb from any Electribe VS the Reverb of the Yamaha DX-200 groovebox, Yamaha really have a Reverb, near to their high-end sampler's Reverbs.

But Korg just don't give us at least a Mini KaossPad Reverb quality. The same with the flanger and phasers.

  • Wheres part 2?
