Cookie Monster has snapped and reverted to his savage cannibalistic ways. Guy Smiley's damn lucky Cookie Monster doesn't have his fang-like teeth anymore.
I hear they brought Guy Smiley back in a recent sketch. Eric Jacobson performs the muppet and I think it really resembles Jim's Guy :) Gee...after watching this segment, it's good they were able to reconstruct the muppet lol We all know Cookie WAS trying to take a nibble at Guy's hand, but if you pause and look closely at 2:25...Cookie's mouth is wide-open and there is nothing in his mouth! So if you think about it, he really didn't succeed lol So, even as an adult, this skit is amusing lol
I can't believe I found this...I remembered back when I was a kids. Watching it as an adult, I really have to say Mike is being a pretty good sport customer service wise....lol still great to watch.
At 0:46, Mike the baker looked at the pie on the counter, and he could have said "how about this pie since it rhymes with buy and it's something you can eat?" Also at 1:23, it was strange that Mike said that he doesn't know what rhymes with "buy" and is delicious to eat and it was strange that he said that he couldn't think of anything at 1:47 after looking at the "pie" at 0:46. (Of course, if he told Cookie Monster about the pie, Cookie Monster would have bought it before Guy Smiley).
@Smartboy8877: Cookie Monster ruins at least two of Kermit's early "letter lectures"--not only by eating the letter of the day piece-by-piece, but by attacking Kermit himself near the end. (The first "W lecture" in Episode 1 shows him grabbing Kermit's leg and trying to eat it; if you search for that clip here, you can see what I mean.)
