  • hi, my name is linda. i sell micabella too. i sell $8 each or 3 for $

    20..

  • The saleswoman I talked to in the mall yesterday lied to me about several things. She told me that the eyeshadows are originally $20 each, when they are $15 on their website. She told me that they do not have a website, when they do. When I asked her what a color was, she said it was named "Pearl" and then when I decided to buy it, I looked on the back and it was a "lemon" color. They have to get honest reps, it makes the company less credible and consumers know when they're being jipped.

  • no

  • @Naviswtngl, you got the price they sold on the website. no ripoff.

  • brilliant information thanks, has anyone tested MACs newest line of products?? it is hard to get makeup in Point Clear but you can recieve some magnificent cosmetics samples using "Gratis-Makeup-Samples"! they're cool.

  • I bought the kit with foundation, blush, three eyeshadows, and two brushes for $140. She also offered the deal with buy 4 eyeshadows get 4 free ($60, or $7.50 each instead of $15 each). I was with a friend so we each got four and split the cost. I'm pretty happy with the foundation, it feels like wearing nothing on my skin and it covers my spots better than the foundation + concealer + powder I was wearing before. Just don't take the products for the first price they offer you!

  • the lady just charged me for one eyeshadow&

    gave me 2 free :D

  • lol i use 50 bucks and got 7 pigments

  • I just bought 9 eyeshadows from Micabella yesterday. They gave me a awesome deal: buy 4 get 5 free.. :P I think the dealer liked me.. But anyway, I've been wearing one of the colors all day and it hasn't creased or anything yet. I love to apply them wet to get the full vibrant colors. And unlike some of the other shimmer colors, the shimmer specks don't flake or dull when using it wet!! I adore it!!

  • Having told her about ten times that I couldn't afford £55 because I'm a broke student, she roped her co-worker in to try and pressure me into a sale. All in all, Micabella cosmetics are poor quality-the thick orange powder transfers very easily and is a nightmare to wash off and the sales assistants are ruthless morons who know nothing about their trade. If you want a decent mineral foundation, you should purchase one from Prestige who do an amazing one for £9.99.

  • Their sales technique also leaves a lot to be desired. Having been roped in for a 'quick' demonstarion where I was promised I wouldn't be pressured to buy anything...the sales assistant kept barking on about how she was going to give me an 'exclusive' deal: £35 foundation and £25 blush. Funny that, considering I could have strolled into the Boots located opposite and bought a mineral foundation that actually suited my skin tone for half the price. MAC even do one that's £10 cheaper!

  • To all those who haven't yet been duped by Micabella Cosmetics: DON'T BUY IT!!!! Anyway, long story short: the idiot make-up 'artist' recommended me an orange/yellow foundation looked ridiculous on my pale Scottish skin and proceeded to slap a load of hideous orange blusher on top. Later that day I met up with a friend whose first words to me were: I love you, but what the hell is going on with your make-up!

  • I bought yesterday and they sale $15 each and I bought buy 4 get 4 free for $70.89. I never heard of this product before I was convience by the seller. Their colore are extremely beautiful

  • nice tutorial, you are so pretty :p lol i love Revlon makeup especially, i get great freeby samples from - Gratis Makeup Samples - anybody else?

  • someone that loves makeup as much as me lol i get wonderful cosmetic stuff from Gratis Makeup Samples - theyre ace

  • I bought 2 pigments for $20. There's also a stand at The Mall of Georgia in Buford.

  • @sierrabethcupcake Hi! Where is that stand at Mall of GA? I was just there yesterday. *^_^*

  • @forg3tm3not770 When I was there it was on the lower level on the side of the mall that has Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, etc. Hope that helps!

  • @sierrabethcupcake Oooh! I know what you're talking about but I don't think they still have it. I have not seen it lately at all.

  • im thinking of getting this. i went to the mall and they tried it on me and i liked it.

it is a little pricey (originally $65 for the foundation). but they were gonna give me the foundation for $35! and buy four eye shadows, get four free!

... but i had to research first.. hahaha. next time if i can still get that deal, ill grab it!

  • dude i got 8 for $152 (with these two brushes) but still that is wayy too fucking much like its nice make up and shit but like come ooonnn!

  • just wondering, i've seen the prices at MAC, are they better than Micabella? I just figure you're more likely to get a deal with Micabella coz they're always lowering the price of $15 a pot if you buy more than one. then again, is the deal really a deal? i've tried MAC, and i actually really like them for all day wear, whereas i've never actually worn micabella for long periods of time, coz like i said in a previous comment, the colors don't look too great under sunlight...

  • the micabella eyeshadow are really good but the face stuff is NOT GOOD PEOPLE ITS TOO SHINNY AND IT LOOKS LIKE PLASITC MY MOM BOTH IT AND SHE HATED IT ! IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY !!!!

  • i got ripped off :[ HAHAH! unless each salelady is different! shiet.. i got three for 25 >;[ HAHAHA. o wells. i dun think ima buy it again xD

  • yeah, i got that deal at the after christmas sales last year....i dunno, i hardly ever touch them, because the colors looked great under mall lights, but in regular daylight, they SUCK! you can't really see them...so disappointing. and all that mixing the pigments in with stuff? you really have to practice to get it right.

  • Did you know that MAC has pigments as well? And is multi-use as well.

  • @MyztiRose Yes and I have lots of MAC pigments too.

  • i work at micabella..and honestly, if yu buy the foundation, its 65 but it lasts yu a long while because yu dont need to re apply it all crazy. i literally just use it once a day and it wont come off for about 8 to 10 hrs...yu can also make it into a foundation with a lil lotion or water...has spf 15...girll..trust me..its so worth it. i was suprised with the results :]

  • @kittiekat05 Wow! I've never thought of turning it into foundation with just water. Thanks for the advice!

  • I use the powder mineral foundation, and i loveeeeee it, its like the only thing I could use. When I bought it, it was for $40, I'm not sure how much it is now, but it's real good on my skin, and it takes awhile for me to get through one jar.

  • i just bought it today, and it costs me 66$ with tax! so yeah, the price is way up too high now, but it is really amazing

  • I get my MICAbella from lenox mall as well... they always convience me to buy... they have great face products!!!!!!!

  • i have micabella i found it when i was in the mall! it is really amazing! i love it!

  • 15 and i love them!

  • i bought some last year here in california and haven't been able to find them anymore! i tried ebay and even the website, but to no avail... i will try it again!

by the way- wonderful, wonderful product!

  • valley fair sells them O_O in the bay area.. Lol

  • Hi! I too have just been walking in the mall and found micabella, and I love it I dont think the price is bad for the many things that one eyeshadow can do I also have the foundation which i never use which I am thinking about taking it back casue I payed 50 for it and I can get more eyeshadow LOL

  • OK- What's inside Micabella that makes it so expensive? Because for 1 ounce pot of Micabella eyeshadow it's $20, but I've seen just pure mica 1-ounce pots being sold for $4... is Micabella a rip-off or is there something in it that makes it worth the price? : )

  • no! micabella sucks! they're trying to be a high end product and their not. mac has mica in it and less expensive

  • I have been using the face cream, powder, blush, eyeshadows, and makeup remover for only two days now, but I can already tell this will not cause a skin reaction. It is light, lasts all day, and fun to experiment with.

It was expensive to buy, but worth every penny in my opinion! You are basically buying pigment powder in a concentrated form; therefore, a little goes a very long way! I have never looked so good in full makeup. (My husband was awed!)

  • I rarely wear makeup because I have eczema. My face is sensitive - extremely dry with an oily layer that builds up throughout the day. Most makeup and lotions cause an instant breakout or stinging sensation.

Isaac showed me how to apply the different products in the MicaBella line, and gave me lots of great tips on how to control my skin condition.

    (Comments continued in next block)

  • I bought 3 for $30 in PALMDALE CA ... I really liked their foundation the lady tried it on me and really liked it but its kinda pricey they said its originally $55 but they were gonna give it to me for $44 I still didnt get it but Im thinking of going back to Palmdale and get it.... i wonder if its really worth that much

  • Wow....that's a lot for foundation...did it gave full coverage or made your face greasy? I noticed that w/mineralized powder foundation like these, it makes my face more oilier.

  • I got the foundation for $65 and the blush for $15 and the eye primer for $10. I also bought 9 eyeshadows for $75. I don't know whether I got a good price or I got ripped off.

  • Oh wow! I can't believe the foundation are that much...not really sure if that was a deal or not since I only bought three shadows for this line.

  • @Naviswtngl This may be really late but yes you did get ripped off! I get the foundation for only $45.

  • I love Micabella! I have the hot pink. I was in desperate need for vibrant eyeshadow, and when I came out of Victorias Secret, it was there. I actually got a discount because it was her last day at the stand. It's expensive but is totally worth it, and lasts a while!

  • Ooh! So how much was the discount and how much did you ended up paying for it? I really need to get more colors b/c I haven't made much use of it since my tutorial.

  • Well, because I only got one thing of it, it was originally $20, but I only ended up paying ten. The she gave me like...A discount card I think..Which I still have :)

They have some great colors, I wish I would have bought more of a variety though, I get tired of pink..lol

  • What? for $10? I just brought one few days ago..they told me the originally price is $20 and now they;re giving it to me for $13 but if i get 2 they'll give it to me for $20..so my mom asked them if they can sell it 1 for juz $10..

  • I got mines for the same price, but I think they're ripping us off b/c according to the viewers, they got it for cheaper...:-(

  • I saw the eye color and shimmer on a server at the Whiskey Bar in Buckhead. It was gorgeous - she said the color/shimmer lasted really wall and would stay on thru the night. Can't wait to get some!

  • I kept on neglecting these pots since this tutorial, but yeah, I need to bring them back out and make use of them.

  • i got the brushes brom micabella they are unbelieveble soft i couldnt belive my eyes !! yes they are pricy but s worth it

  • They look like great brushes, but were you able to bargain for them?

  • Dats kool...i am too...yeah i wasn't gonna buy it but it look soo pretty wen she put it on soo i got them 3 for 25 so i thought that was deal so i ended up getting freeze, earth, and dis greenish color i cant member the color ....do you have a whole collection of there colors and what ones would u recommend if i were to buy some more :) thanks

  • I haven't had a chance to buy the other colors yet so I wouldn't know what else to recommend, but I'm sure that whatever color stands out would be great for you.

  • lol i bought some today because the girl was doing all the stuff and i was like omg this stuff works good...and are u cambodian?

  • Hi ValidyForYou...they sure can talk all of us into it once they test the colors out on us huh? Hehe! Yes, I am.

  • YES!! i got the at main place mall in orange calif. they are also on the first floor outside of victoria's secret! lol

    yeyyyyy!!!

    i love it!!

    thanxxxxxxx

  • I'm glad you're loving it...I need to get me more colors.

  • I love it, I love it, I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks so much Moerox666!

  • what kind of ingredients do they have in micabella? i had a demonstration on my hand in my mall and when i asked her she said "nothing bad or harsh". i didn't break out but i'm still afraid of putting it on my face until i know for sure lol

  • I don't the ingredients either, but they should be able to tell you since they're promoting and selling the products.

  • oh n i got mines for 10 bux! she was willing to sell me 3 for 25 bux! so yeah i think its a matter of bargaining!

  • I need to bargain harder.

  • heyyy thnx for a great review! i bought my first micabella pigment "instance" 2 days ago n cant wait to try it as eyeshadow. does it actually stay on like good quality make up?? thnx!!<3

  • Hi abzzc1! Yes, it stays put pretty well.

  • I bought the teal pigment a few months ago. It is amazing! I love its staying power and the fact that it won't go bad. Nice video.

  • Thanks! Can't wait to try the other colors.

  • i love this make up it actually helped out my skin alot now im pimple free thanx to the foundation n theshimers are great but even though it is pricey u do have to work with then n try to get as cheap as possibly if not i always buy them on ebay!!!!!! wayy cheaper

  • Wow! Thanks! I didn't know they sell it on Ebay.

  • hi!!

  • hola!

  • i got mine at the mills

  • DM is right down the street from my house. How much did you get yours for there so that I would know what to bargain.

  • i got mine at Lenox, too!

  • did you get it for a cheaper price?

  • When I went to the mall on my B-Day, the girl there, who recognizes there now when I go there, gave me a FREE makeover and gave me a deal on 3 shimmer powders for 20$. And an even brighter hot pink is resonance.

  • That is awesome!

  • yesterday i bought 2 eyeshadows for 18 $

  • I'm feeling like I could had bargained lower.

  • okay, i'm hella pissed that some people got like 5 shadows for $35. i went to the exact same stand in lenox yesterday (i'd never heard of the product before). i got 2 for $20, which isn't bad, but if i had known i could have gotten more for a cheaper price, i would have bargained some more lol.

  • I'm pissed off too that I didn't try to bargain more.

  • Hello! Thats funny that I stumbled across this video cause I actually used to work at Micabella in the promenade mall in Temecula, CA. I actually do agree with AndrewsbabyG, it will not cause breakouts since it is chemical free and also hypoallergenic! Just try it! I'm sure it wont cause any damage! :)

  • Great! Can't wait to try it.

  • forg3tm3not770 it will not break you out like the crappy cheap stuff does this micabella is way betterlike i have been useing it for like almost two months now and i havent broken out since yay me it is worth buying this makeup cause if you dont use make u that often then it lasts like two years... cant beat that like the drug store makeup you have to throw out after like 6ix months or whatever

  • Wow! You talked me into it....thanks andrewsbabyG!

  • i cant member what i had said lol can you refresh my mind please

  • I went that SAME MicaBella store in Lenox Mall. Believe it not, got 5 for 35 last year and a friend of mine got 5 for 20! Their face products are great.

  • I feel so cheated no that I hear everybody getting it cheaper than mines. Thanks for sharing! I will bargain with them more next time.

  • my mom bought three eyeshadows over summer and a foundation. i have the evoke color and its awesome. the price is really good too

  • How does your mom like the foundation?

  • she luvs it! and i use it sometimes and the pigment is always bright and good! the foundation is excellent if u dont have them u should get them

  • I'm just hoping that it doesn't break me out though since my skin is very sensitive and I'm hoping for a lot of coverage. Thanks for the advice!

  • oh okay thats somethiing to look for in the foundation! but im pretty sure it doesnt do that to my mom!

  • and yeah, ten dollars is the cheapest for one eyeshadow.

  • I work at Mica Bella in Oklahoma, and for the record there IS a minimum price we can sell it for so don't think we're always ripping you off. =]

  • Oooh...can you tell us what that minimum price is?

  • oh I know they can rip u off. I always haggle the people at those little kiosks and make them go cheaper. lol

  • i live in maryland and they have those stands at our mall too. i was always scared to try them out.. but now that i've seen ur videos i might have to go check it out!!!

  • And don't let them rip you off bc I heard that you can get them for cheaper.

  • hahah i just bought 3 today.

there's one here in mission viejo, CA.

also in the mall, a stand.

  • Awesome! How much did you get them for?

  • Well, it's $14.95 for 1. But the dude that worked there gave me a deal, 3 for $30.

  • I love mine! I dont use it very often, but i love the colors...yea i agree about the price..I walked up to the stand plannign on buying 1 for $15 and I ended up walking away spening $40 and 4 jars of the eyeshadow! What can I say? I such a sucker!! lol

  • LOL! I need to get me some more too.

  • i live in gerogia !!!

i go to lenox mall not that often, but when i did buy something from them i got it at the mall of GA and i think i got another one at cumberland or i think that one mall in cumming/forsyth

i havn't used it very much, but i love the colours !

  • Cool! How much did you get them for and where at Mall of GA is it?

  • I love mica bella, it's true about they're prices though ... stand your ground the colors are great :) I have tons of mica bella the colors are awesome :)

  • Awesome! I'm glad I found another user...what other products do you use from them eyecandyrb?

  • they also have a stand in discover mills in lawrenceville, ga.

    i bought some yesterday.

the lady gave me a deal...3 for $25.

    i couldn't resist...lol.

  • Ooh! That is so great MyBrokenSoul17! Where in Discover Mills is it? It's 5 mins from my house and I'm going there this weekend.

  • it's between johnny rockets and charlotte rousse(if i spelled that right)...lol.

  • Oh I know exactly where that is...thanks!

  • gggrr i bought some at this booth at the mall here and they were three for $50 and i got some tube of primer that just drys way to fast that was $30. i think i got ripped off!!!

  • Oh no teoni...you completely got ripped off and knowing those booth sellers, they probably don't have a refund policy either.

  • yeah i totally got ripped off, and they have a huge sign saying no refunds, they also carry premier dead sea products, they are like vultures. My mom got suckered into getting like $400 of stuff from them. But the premier eye serum she got has seriously reduced some of her wrinkles, so as long as shes happy then i guess it was worth it.

  • They are so wrong and can be very persistent too. One thing I found out 'bout them is that they can give you whatever price they state. They tried to sell me a brush pkg for $400 and when I tried to walk away, she dropped it down to $200. Of course I still wasn't interested, but it shows that they can charge you double if not more the price and say whatever they want to say.

  • Yeah they did that with my mother. Also they had some brushes, they were charging $150, they didn't even look like good quality, they were purple bristles!!!! Where as i use the brush set from Costco, which was $24.99, and they are great!!!

  • The ones they tried to tell me were blue bristles...LOL!

  • I'm so glad that someone else found these I bought the Tropical pack about a year ago but have never seen anyone else use it.

  • How do you like it dirtypyrobabe.

  • do they offer any samples or small sizes?

  • they were greedy at my location...so nope.

  • wats up once again? i may get u tired of these comments :) but like u said in ur video, they showed so many ways to use this thing that they made me fall in love with it!, oh and urs is 2.5gm n mine is 1.75gm

  • You're so silly...I can never get tired of my viewers...*^_^*

  • i got mine today too! its soo cool! u can do anything with it!

  • Yay! I'm glad you're experimenting with this brand b/c so far I love the different things you can apply it to.

  • i had a question, i bought 3 for $20 but they were verryy small...........i hope they didnt jip me :(

  • Ooh...that's a very good deal. I'm sorry, but forgot how many ounces they were for each container. Did I say it in my review? To lazy to rewatch this video...:P

  • i went to the mall today

(i also live in ga =])

and got my first 3 colors! i'm so exciteed.

    they are extremely beautiful.

the girl that sold it to me asked if she could try some color in my hair so i left the mall with the hott/bright blue-"freeze" and hott pink streaks in my hair lol. surprisingly to me i did get compliments haha.

so my colors are "freeze", "Nulsance", and "Deep Secret". They are extremely beautiful!

    :)

  • and yes i know i repeated myself twice haha =P

i cannot stress enough how amazing they look.

  • Oh wow yay! We have got to meet sometime at the mall and just go makeup shopping together coconutxkisses! How was the color payout on your hair?

  • :)

    it was awesome.

i was actually surprised at how bright the color turned out on my hair, i was thinking it would probably look a little dull with a few shimmers but i was wrong, it really did stand out.

  • Did they mixed it with Aloe Vera or something else? I have got to try that this weekend one of my colors.

  • no i dont think so.

she basically put this thing lol sorry i cant remember what it's called but it looks like it's a lip gloss bottle (even though it's not)and she took the wand and put a streak through my hair. and then with a makeup eyeshadow brush she dipped it into the shadow and dabbed it along the streak she made. :)

  • are these shadows or shimmers? BTW, I love the passionfruit tut. I love the orange and pink together. I convinced my boyfriend to go to our mall to check out micabella. We're going this weekend (:

  • Hi TDEAP! So did you ended up buying any over the weekend? They're actually called shimmers and you can use them with anything.

  • At my mall, they have a deal where if your buy 8 or more e/s, they are only 5 dollars each!! That comes to 40 dollars for 8 full size e/s...and the color pay off on these e/s is AMAZING!!!

  • OMG! You've got to be kidding me! So that girl lied to me then b/c she said that she would give me a 8 for $60 deal...it's a good thing I didn't buy anymore yet...now I'm gonna ask her 'bout it.

  • great review! i going to check them out now

  • Thanks! Hope you like the 2nd half of this product's video.

  • I absolutely love MicaBella!!!

I just went to the mall in Olympia, Washington with my cousins (they showed me it today).

It's out in front of the giant hollister and MAC store!

  • Oh snap! You are so lucky holalol559! Did you ended up getting any MicaBella or MAC products?

  • No!

We had to go and she was too busy with this other lady...

But I know I'll be back because my cousin has these two gorgeous aqua and violet colors that I'm absolutely in love with...

And for MAC- for some reason, it was connected to the Macy's and had the smallest stock of everything... so, I didn't get anything since I was looking for some Neo Sci Fi products, and they had zilch! lol.

  • I just bought some MicaBella today! I bought Allowance the really bright yellow one and Freeze the really REALLY bright blue one. I havent used them yet, but I did love the look you did with them.

  • Oooh! You should make an ocean theme with those colors...sounds so pretty. So how do you like the product so far?

  • OMG, I am a micabella junkie!

They have a stand in the avenues mall in Jacksonville, FL.

    It's awesome makeup!

    GO BUY IT!!! lol

  • Oh wow! That's great that I found another viewer that uses it. Which colors do you recommend? I'm actually going to J'ville, FL this weekend for a wedding (07/19/08) and was thinking of hitting the Avenues.

  • we should definitely meet up this weekend and I can show you my makeup collection.

  • Oooh! We should get all the YouTube makeup fanatics in GA and meet up in Perimeter Mall to go shopping at the MAC store there.

  • If anyone was wondering, they also have one in the Mall of Georgia. Thats where my friend bought hers.

  • I love Mall of GA! Which store is it close to?

  • Ooo those are such pretty colors. Its awesome to see new vids from you! Ur like the best lol. And your eye make up looked gorgeous, so did your skin btw.=D

    Ashleyxx

  • Thanks Ashley! It's been fun making these videos and without my husband holding me back...hehe!

  • this is a very pretty summer color on you.

  • Thank you very much camaurice4!

  • I think they have this at our mall too (in NC) and it's a stand too. It's kinda expensive compared to other stuff though. Once I got 3 for my friend's bday right. I wanted to return it within 30 mins though cuz I spent like $30 on that unknown brand when I could've just gotten her mac! She's a big BRAND person. You know them gals..haha. The girl wouldn't refund it! My bf and I had to keep arguing with her so much just to get a refund. She never told us we couldn't return it when I bought it.

  • I just don't like the people or the price..but the lighting they have makes it look SOOO pretty. I think you can find waaay cheaper mineral makeup at other places and sites. Lovely looks though! And if I could afford it I would totally buy them haha.

  • Oh no...that's terrible. Those stand people always gives us a bad time whenever we try to return things. But they sure did convinced me to buy them b/c like you said, the lighting makes the colors look so pretty...I'm a sap for makeup...hehe! But I really held my ground when they tried to get me to buy the other stuff such as powder and brushes. I just wanted to try these out b/c I thought $10 a piece wasn't that bad.

  • Out of curiosity, were the sellers middle eastern?

  • I believe they are due to their skin color, accent, and names. And I must say, the guy that sold it to me looks just like Orlando Bloom! Whoohoo! So cute!

  • Hey missy aren't you married?! o noo! All the people at my stand are middle eastern too haha.

  • LOL! It's okay to look as long as I don't touch...but oops..."orlando bloom" did touched my hand...keke!

  • haha

  • omg yes they last a long time and i got the like browns iv had them 4 about 2 yrs already and there still full

  • I love your makeup. Thanks for the review.

  • Thank you very much almmaaa!

  • what a cute summer look!!! but isnt this make up super expensive??

  • Wow yeah the prices in the site are insane! :O

  • After seeing the prices online, I wouldn't buy it either and rather get it at the stand.
