Godsmack is Sully's baby...musicians have and always will go out on their own and do their own thing. Nothing wrong with that. But they will always be Godsmack, can't change that sound. And to the dude LarkinIMV yes Shannon and Robbie do have their own DVD's on how to play. ;-)

There kinda like the band slipknot where everyone pretty much has there own band besides being in slipknot. Corey Taylor the lead singer has his band Stone Sour, and the drummer has the band Murrder Dolls. Everyone needs a break once in a while from eachother and music so they can have a fresh start. i will get to see them when Alter Bridge hits Milwaukee in November. However, I saw Godsmack a few years ago with Metallica, so I have some high hopes, despite what I have heard hasn't been all that great.

i just saw Another Animal 2 weeks ago in chicago with alter bridge, and they were beyond incredible

i hate to say it, but i hope this band goes forth and leaves godsmack behind. whit crane is such an amazing vocalist. ill be at the Milwaukee show too, its gonna fuckin rock

i don't know if this is just me, but i went and saw them play live with Alter Bridge.. They suck so much man. Its just loud as music and nothing really sounds like music at all. Just a bunch of b-side trash that will only get a few people to listen. Everyone at the show felt they were just loud and really sucky

i bought the album though it's pretty good. doesn't sound like godsmack with the exception of a couple tracks. you should get it, its not bad.
