oh wow he hasnt even read the bible but critics its teachings all is explained science comes from the bible nothing in science conflicts with it what an ignorant man to challenge a book theory and way of life without even reading it
Hmm, silly story, as Richard's face said it all, while listening to that story. He's very patient and we all share what Richard thinks here. The old man is saying nothing new of value, to add to Christianity credibility, anymore than a hindu, who has similar experiences.
Unfortunately Dawkins is laying off this fellow because of the aforementioned tragedy he experienced about a week before this interview. He understands that religion, ie., faith, is a powerful anesthetic for the reality of death. Daniel Dennett talks about this in some detail. The electric force story makes things even more painful to watch.
Sam Harris would better address the interviewer’s experience than Richard Dawkins.
None of this is a confirmation of a god, a spiritual objective reality like a so called "holly spirit" or especially a would be divine being like Jesus.
This type of experience, or delusion, needs to be addressed by atheists. It is very convincing and is in the realm of human experiences.
@r4hul101 lol i know right , which language? oh uhm a man made one that couldn't of been translated because no one would know what the thing was saying and then the theist cop out will come into the equation "god made it happen" lmfao,
I found that embarrising to watch. This interviewer using his faith to justify his beliefs and failing in a catastrophic fashion. If you chose faith over science, you can come up with the most fantastic stories to try and justify that faith. What chance do atheists have to disprove these outragious claims ? None. They then claim victory. The only way to ascertain truth in these arguments is to refer to fact. Scientific fact. Fact that can can be independantly verified by peer review. Evidence !

4:55 "Fortunately, he never touched me, coz I'm not into that" - guess you weren't a boy in front of a Catholic priest then. ;-)

This guy is very nice, but I don't see the point in this interview. He is a simple and naive man.

I long for the day that a theist proves a "god" exists without using HUMAN MADE words or HUMAN MADE language.
