It's very simple and a lot of information comes through. He may be wanting to know about a job offer.. but within 5 months u see a move.. 2 months u see an overseas trip.. So much information will come through.. I love timelines!!!
In the 3rd row of cards I see the 3 of pentacles in the second week of that month, so I know that he will have a job offer that will be coming the second week of March. You can keep going up to 12 months. I don't like going over 8 months because it's not as accurate cause so much can change within that time frame. If you don't see a job offer within that time, it doesn't mean there isn't one...It just may not be showing up just yet.

I wanted to share how I do timelines. You will lay 4 cards that will represent 1 week in each month. Lets say you are already in the 3rd week of December, then you will only need to lay 1 card for the month of December since there is only 1 week left in that month. We are at December 1st today. Joe wants to know when he will get a new job offer. I focus on whether or not Joe will get a new job in the next 6 months. I will lay 4 cards in a row 6 times which will signify 6 month.
Your suggestion about saying "within six months" and so on is fine, I think. You can use the procedure shown

@SleepingWithSorrow be careful with those, if you charge them wrong, they will call on the wisdom of the astral vampires *kindof like energy leaches* and that will lead to very bad things
Someone is asking the Cosmos or some knowledgeable entity for help or an answer or answers. Maybe the Cosmos doesn't want to help you at that moment - perhaps because no answer is also an answer; or it forces you to rely on yourself, or learn some lesson differently.
You pay your money and you take your chance. That's how it ought to be and if you don't like the answer, live with it rather than change the rules after the fact.
greetings , i am in a TERRIBLE situation . a lady that comes for cards reading asks the same question over and over again . what can i do...everytime i do it it gives a different answer ....what can i do ? she wants a presice day and month....i am going CRAZY
You could ask the Tarot itself what you should do about this particular problem with this particular person at this time. Pick a single card and let that be your answer - and then deal with the questioner along the lines that the Tarot tells you.
