  • Is that Simon Pegg at 4:04 at the front in the coat and brown hat????

  • @shamemonkey1 Perhaps the greatest call ever made in the history of youtube.

  • it saddens me to see this piece of musical genius only getting just over 50,000 views, and you have wee fannies like justin beiber getting over 700million. it's just not fair. these guys are absolutely amazing.

  • @lewissaints1 Winston Marshall uses every single fret of his banjo, breaks the damn thing in a thousand pieces playing it. Crowds are like.. meh.. Bieber does 3 chords crowd is like; o my gosh he's so talented blah blah blah.. Yes, it saddens me too..

  • for such a pure a wholesome song...i bet theres gone be a lot a' fuckin goin on to this one yes sir!

  • haha I like the song. but I would like it more if the guy played the banjo instead of the E guitar:/ its just mumford tradition.

  • @presleycbrandon No worries! When they were writing and working on the song, Winston had recently lost his banjo so he used the guitar on this particular song. Mumford won't ever stray from who they are. So just enjoy the song and be care free! :)

  • @MayrasEpicLife haha alright good. i still love the song! its just hard to find guys that can pull off this kinda sound and i wanted to make sure they werent changing it or anything! heard they got a new album out soon!

  • @presleycbrandon Winston supposedly lost his banjo the day that they wrote this song, so he went out and picked up something, well, different :]

  • got the chorus tatoo'd on my thigh today :)

  • @TheJevz which part of the lyrics ?

  • @gQuaresma07 Keep the earth below my feet

For all my sweat, my blood runs weak

Let me learn from where I have been

Keep my eyes to serve and hands to learn

Keep my eyes to serve and hands to learn

  • @TheJevz actually it's " keep my eyes discern, my hands to learn"

    your thigh is wasted :)

  • @gQuaresma07 congratulations on being the 7th person to tell me this, i was told about the difference in the line BEFORE i had it done, i got the tattoo for personal reason's linked to the time period i listened to the song and what it helped me with, thats why i chose serve.

  • Nothing big, no light show or anything.

Just four guys on stage playing their music. And the crowd still loves it! THIS is music!!!

  • Usually i hate arttists doing songs i don't know in a live set but i genuinly love this. THIS SONG IS GONNA BE BIG!!!

  • I was there. When the boys came on the stage I started crying. I was in the presence of real Magic.

I wish I could turn back to the moment this song went through my spine. Live.

  • @awsinger1 agree...happened to me every time I saw them when they were here in the US...it is 'spiritual' experience!

  • @awsinger1 this is probably THE best comment to this video. and i adore you for it! <33

i saw them live in memphis this year at the beale street music festival. and i was the same way. i actually saw them to the side of the stage, while Jerry Lee Lewis was playing his set before them, and as soon as i saw them IN THE FLESH, after wanting that for sooooooooooooooooo long, i couldn't help but cry. THERE THEY WERE! it was beautiful and my life literally changed after their show. <333

  • @Courtkneehead15 THE best comment huh? haha! All I speak is truth, my friend. Mumford and sons are the only band I listen to and their music is just pure perfection. I refuse to die before I meet them. You were really lucky to see them at the side of the stage!

I was reeally close to the front at glasto this year and when they came out I just didnt know what to do but cry. The four most amazing and insperational lads in the world were right there in front of me. I want to see them live again!

  • @awsinger1

Saw them side stage at Jazz Fest this year......what a wonderful experience.

    You NEED to see them.
