Well..... the brain looks for patterns in things you see. So when you look at a cloud and see a dinosaur, you aren't actually seeing a dinosaur, but rather, your brain is trying to put the formless cloud into a category. It's the same with this nebulae. Your brain is actively searching for patterns in the formless galaxies in order to put it into a category. The reason we developed this form association was in the hope that we could spot predators more easily in camouflaged environments. :)
