This is great! I am the daughter of Bob Devlin who is mentioned at the end of the video. I lived my whole life at WP in Bailey Loop...421-N! My Dad was in the Hellcats for over 23 years & I loved watching him play. He passed away in 2004 --taken too soon from leukemia--but it's so wonderful to see videos such as these. Such heart-warming memories. Thank you!
@lmd723 I was in the Hellcats with your Dad. He was a great guy. I learned a lot from him. You should be very proud to be his daughter. I also lived in Bandland -- 422-A.
Rope drum grid was worth the price of admission. Great vid Kev, thanks for documenting this. Amazing how much rudimental drumming can change the course of your life.
Great stuff! I love that they can go back to the roots of rudimental drumming and play on rope drums and still ram notes and play clean. Great job Kevin!
this video needs more views, such a great look into a group to few people know about

Andrew Porter! Hell yes! Stood right behind him every show before marching onfield in 1993. Good to see him chopping out with the Hellcats. SLIBFS.
