  • I dig that huge electric boil kettle you have there!

  • @tim78704 Yeah shes a beautiful thing anit she

  • I gotta tell ya... i've been watching homebrew vids for a solid month now and this was one of the more entertaining i've ever seen. Good job! Don't stop! Hope that English Stout comes out great. It looks beautiful. Cheers!

  • @TaylorInOK Thanks man thats a really nice thing to say man =D

  • 10 minutes 40 seconds well spent. Cheers mate!!

  • This is amazing. It's pretty much the same thing I watched at Panther and Northcote but on a smaller basis. I know that sounds obvious but to me it's fantastic and really makes me want to brew all grain.

    CHEERS MATE!!!

  • @BeerGogglesReviews No problem mate im just trying to help a friend out who wants to make good beer.

  • lookin good devon..cheers

  • @HokieHomeBrew 3 days of fermentation and already down to 1.015. I cant Believe it.

  • @DevonHomeBrew That comes from using dark malts and long mash times. Full mash brews always seem to have healthy fermentations.

  • Love the boiler. Dark beer is love.

  • This is looking bloody great. Odins Breath!!!! When it's all done send me a message and we'll sort out the money and pick up. It's not fair to expect you to post this seeing as I live in the South West. I'll jump on a train!

  • @mrgrimviking Nah mate dont worry about it ill send it off in the post. It wont cost that much.

  • Looks like its going to be a real nice big stout, I would suggest that you not use Irish moss in Stouts. I only use Irish moss in a beer that I want to be really clear, it does hurt head retention because it extracts proteins. Not that this beer will be bad, just maybe lacking head. Great HBW vid, can't wait to see Davids review on this!

  • @Tantrum777 You watch his vids aswell i like him cause hes really honest if its crap he will say it and not try and cover it up with 'its lacking flavour' he just says its crap.

  • Very nice boil kettle. The only thing about it seems to be the hops clogging the spigot?

  • @arrogantbastardale I dont hacve a false bottom yet. =D

  • @nickong796 It is a cygnet/burco boiler it is 30L and it does very well boils off just enough on full boils 1 gallon away heats up 30L in 25-30mins just leave it and plug it in turn it to max and away you go just a giant kettle. I got it from ebay for 107 pounds you can get similar ones for reasonable prices. 100-150 british pounds.

  • so jealous mate, would love to do some good home brewing but i always do it shite.

  • @BirmzWeedhead Are you doing it from kits???????????

  • @DevonHomeBrew yeah mate, would love to do it your way though. so natural

  • @BirmzWeedhead You know i told you about craigtube he did a partial extract brew which is using grain to get freshness but not using it to get sugars and using unhopped extract as the sugars then boiling the hops ill PM you the weblink if you want.

  • @DevonHomeBrew Yeah mate - is it a proper good guide?

  • @BirmzWeedhead Yes it is.

  • I'm comin across the pond for some beer, but I'm bringing some clippers with me!! LOL

  • @bmeyer44 Hahahahahahahaha i like my hair it gives me the edge to brew my father is thinking of getting me 2 real ale casks just because.
