awesomeness!^_^ keep up the good work..I too have a Dino Movie..its on my youtube page..please feel free to check it out..well actually its only the pictures from the mini movie I made ha..well keep up the good work!:D
Cool! I am making my own dino movie but I have to beg, borrow, and steal all my animation. Do you have anything extra that could be used in a cutaway shot? Thanks!
Actually, the first thing it reminded me of is the Harryhausen/O'Brien shot from THE ANIMAL WORLD where the Ceratosaur attacks the Stegosaurus. Your animation is incredibly smooth. Was this done on film or video?
Thanks for the comments. I love the dino sequence from the Animal World. This animation was shot digitally, most of my others are on film. The models do have nice ball and socket armatures which help out a lot. Thanks again.
Je trouve que l'animation et les maquettes sont plus effrayant que ceux en images d'ordinateur, car les mouvements un peu saccadés rajoutent un plus. Par contre les cris des dinos sont mal faits.
This is some great animation and puppets!! I'd love to see more. You say you're just fooling around here, but their is considerable professionalism in the videos. The puppets are fantastic! Did you build them yourself? Wire or ball and socket armature?
where did u get those armatures :)

HoopsAndDinoMan 2 years ago
Hey HoopsAndDinoMan,
This was just some shots cut together, that were just practice shots. They reminded me of the 1960 film Dinosaurus, so I named it after that film.
Thanks for watching,

did the armatures cost alot
conker13245 3 years ago
Those armatures were made in the eighties for not a lot of money. Today they would probably cost in the thousands.
tims44 3 years ago
do you do your own puppets or do you have someone to do the for you?
conker13245 3 years ago
Hey there conker13245,
I have had some of the armatures made by others, but I make all of the bodies.
Thanks for watching,

I enjoyed it a lot! It was very smooth and came together very well! I make stop motion also, but they are no where near as good as this!

Thanks paulrkev66,
I liked the card trick film that you did. It is reminisant of the earliest stop motion films ever made.
Thanks for viewing my stuff,

That's the real trick. A story to go along with the stop motion. I am trying. Keep looking one is coming soon.

I remember the 1960 film when I was young. All in all, you did a pretty good job. Congradulations. It would be great if there was a film like that.
