they took out some sidequests and other things to fit the game onto an NES cartridge so I doubt Emerald weapon will be in this...

i tried to play it but i did not continue.

i cant understand the language and the battles are consuming too much time( even the very first battle as cloud gets off the train). i will keep watching your progress.

Playing time is a little bit longer than what you have seen in the videos so far. If I were you I'd run from every battle at the beginning. Only do the ones you have to and use all your magic to get past them. That's what I did.
