I tried to take the test for the marines, but however they increased their standards, it used to be a score of 31 but now its a 55. they said its getting harder to join the marines now a i dont why.

@AustinPowersOwns I was first CAV in 4 different units over the years, The barracks this soldier lives in is a step up from the old barracks they demolished for these. I was first to live in these after returning from Iraq deployment. they where brand new in 2004-2005. To answer your question austin well first they are small. and alot of single soldiers are young and fresh in thier first unit like this soldier in video. probally been in only a year or two counting depoyment to iraq.

army barracks are wayyy nicer than marine barracks.

the marine barracks ive seen is just a room the size of this guys bed room (shared with one other person usually) with a bathroom to share with the neighbors..so 4 men share one bathroom...the higher ranks have little kitchens but damn...

The Army has a way bigger budget than the USMC, mostly because the USMC is part of the Navy and they do not get the full funding of a full branch like the Army.
