Hey Dom...let me tell you what I've learned-the hard way. Suicide is never the answer. People who kill themselves are looking for relief from emotional turmoil, but death does NOT bring anihilation/nothingness, instead, self-destruction traps the soul in the pain and it's nearly impossible to resolve it. I was in that catatonic, numb state and almost shot myself- but a LITERAL angel intervened, shook my friend awake and yelled that I was in trouble and he stopped me. And I thank God every day!

Dom, incredible story so well put together in documentary form. I think that many people are fearful of sharing their stories like this for fear of what others will think. I don;t doubt. did you ever see a picture of the woman to compare what you saw that morning? thanks for sharing your story.

Dom, Are you saying that she was hanging in the tree above you as you settled in and went to sleep? Are you really saying that the newspaper specified the exact tree in its article? Why didn't you show a picture of the article in your photo presentation? Do you really want to call this non-fiction? I 'm now quasi catatonic because I feel I just wasted 5 minutes of my life. Otherwise, you know, I thought the tale was well told. Oh, and all you getting chills might want to consider Ben Gay.

no she hung herself the night before we slept under the tree, We found out later it was the very spot she was found hanging from local investigstion from Santa Cruz Police I stated at the time I wished I had cut the story out of the paper but I didnt, I dont need to prove everything to the public this was my personal experience that I shared which is definitely nonfiction I really did not appreciate your silly comment about something I took very seriously and finally shared it after 30 + years

I am NOT going to argue with that! I absolutely love the Monterey area. Don't think it gets much better than great food, nice people, gorgeous scenery, fantastic golf, and spooky stories...although I would add (prejudiciously)that most of the northern CA coast is wonderful. Not that I'm biased or anything...
