  • bro your a lefty switch the snare n hi hat with the floor tom < makes thing thing easer nice cover by the way

  • only if this wud have better audio recording it cud have been the best cover...

  • ure audio is wierd

  • DAAANG... Drummer to drummer though, try re-arranging the set... im a righty and i know that my dominant hand is definitly easier to play with when its over my other... my cousin is left handed and he cant play on my set at all. It will definitly help... Awesome skills though XD

  • AMAZING MAN!

  • the style is great

  • Great :D

  • like fuck..

  • i played on these cymbals in my drum exam they are amazing but fucking expensive

  • Your a lefty playing right, which is wrong. Keep workin on that song... you'll get it soon! good job!

  • I think it makes him different to be lefty and having his set like that....good cover man

  • dude awesome cover \m/

i don care where the shit is or whether u invert it or not

    it sounds great ^^

  • it is nessesary to spin the sticks

  • GOD!xD are you fuckin lefthanded?xD Have you tried to invert the drums position?xD

  • top...

  • very strange way of playing, but if you like keep on doing it

    love the cover

  • I liked it and im not the only person in the world who plays like you! i play right handed kits and im left handed Anyone who tells you to change your kit about ignor them well set it up how we want xD nice job

  • @Motoxpsyco Yo dude, if you like having your setup right-handed whilst playing left, there's nothing wrong with that. But you should at least put the ride over the hats, makes it easier for you guys that way I suppose.

Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace has this kind of setup, right sided kit while playing lefty with the ride over the hats as well, looks pretty good, search him up.

Great playing, keep it up my friend, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

  • nice paradiddles

  • Fag drumming

  • This video would have been better if I could hear the song.

  • i play like you to my left hand is dominant. what i did was put my ride above my hi hat and swich cymbals around from there. its much easier

  • Wow...my last comment turned out horrible bcuz of autocorrection...pshh...anyways wat I meant was...ur a lefty? I didn't notice until I read the comments...lol... Probly cuz i am 1 too

  • Way it lefty?...I didn't notice tip unread comments...lol probly bcuz i am too haha :D

  • You rule dude! ;D

    you cute :P

  • that was awesome...

  • Awesome Job These cymbal play very well :D

  • Opened handed drummer , nice

  • or just put the ride left to the hihat^^

  • awesome cover but turn ur drum set around cuz ur a lefty not a righty

  • your showing off to much

  • Yeh, v well played man. I use a couple more bass notes at the very start, but sounds v good. And don't worry bout those who think u gotta re-arrange ur kit, open hand is just as kool. ; )

  • what is the mark of this drum ?

  • Holy crap how do u afford those zildjian A's!? Those are the most epic cymbals and u have like 5 or 6! I need some so bad! lol Good Job

  • Carter Beauford also uses left hand on hihat!

How about putting the ride on the left side?

    Anyway, very good job man!

  • Quit telling him how to set up his drums, guys. It's all about what HE likes, and what HE feels comfortable doing. What you guys think looks awkward isn't important. And plenty of drummers play like this. I've seen it.

  • ur hot and good job :D

  • nice vid dude...im a lefthanded drummer too same as you...nice drum but not the right setting i guest...if u dont wanna change to lefthanded setting..myb u can take the ryde cymbal to your left..its easier!!! anyway...nice stick trick!!

  • cool :D but it looks so absurd :D

  • Crossover on ride and not on HiHats?? O.o Re-arrange your set dude!

  • skills matey luv it xxxx

  • @pheeblemarble heavent heard about open style?dis is it dude!!!!!

  • sounds awesome and looks like he's enjoying it...

who cares what it looks like?

  • sound pretty gud, but look weird

  • awesome job dude, but try re-arranging ur kit....it looks kinda wierd

  • wow.. left hand on Highhat.. and left on ride? why not your right hand??

    But, nice! +1

  • duuddee, ur just awesome :)

  • sick ;) nicee

  • im lefty like u and ive got my kit set up the same way as u. i just hav my ride on the left so i dnt need to go cross handed. u should try this 2 and c if it works cuz it improved my speed by alot. but thats just me. if ur confortable playing that way then by all means keep playing like that. 5* by the way. the cover was just plain awesome

  • I love it man

You rock and don't care about those haters man :)

    Keep ROCK

  • re-arrange ur set if ur a lefty dude. this just looks akward.

  • maybe his right foot is stronger though, let him play how he feels.

  • @drummerkid69 ryt. or maybe he could try drummin that way if he's comfy with it

  • @drummerkid69 actually he doesn't have to he can learn to play open handed keeping it that way would be a good way to get there, just practice everything on the other hand and even if you have to go back to basic counting to get it.

  • @drummerkid69 or he must put the ride at the same side with hi-hat.

  • Hey thats good but I learn this song at this moment !!

    ^^

  • I`m playing exactly same way,coz im left handed. Nothing weard, simple open handed style. Good cover man!

  • THANK U. i h8 it wen people criticise

  • @Napstor100500 it's not just simply open handes...when you imagine that most of right handed drummers follow the toms from top to the bottom at first, it is hard to play this way really fast starting off with your left hand.

good cover...but the music is way to low

  • Wow, Justin. Your AMASING!

  • No, Sorry I Meant AMAZING Not AMASING.

  • That was... weard=P

You have the most weard technique i've ever seen I guess.. You're left-handed, aren't you? Change your set-up left handed two..?!

  • I love it ^_^

  • very good

  • Oh god please help him.........

  • Are you kidding me? That was horrible. Played well my ass. You retards on youtube don't know shit about what is god and what isn't.

  • spikeman23 U R A FUCKING IDIOT!!!!!! how is that bad. it was played very well and he wasn't trying to copy the song note for note which is what i long about covers. I woujld love to see you do that!!!

  • i know!!! it was awesome!!! great job !!!!

  • starwarsfreak1997

    how is this badd

    its great!!

  • I think I'm in love(:

    Hahaha.

  • diffrent but awomsome check out simon phillips

  • Wow that was fucking horrible on so many levels

  • Comment removed

  • there are lots of drummers that play open (left hand hitting hi hat instead of right). Some think it's more comfortable and depending on the fills, it might make you faster. Watch the drummer from Three Days Grace....Carter from DMB....Papa Roach..just for example. All are open not traditional

  • Not super.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, he might be playing this way because his right hand is injured. So, he leads with his left. I would.

  • Comment removed

  • wow ive never seen someone play a ride cymbal like that nice playing

  • he's a lefty playing it the righty way

  • i figured dat

  • ikr

  • lixo

  • yo try to set ur drum set to lefty. like flip everything around. ur left arm usually is over ur right hand hitting the snare bc clearly ur left hand dominant. its a lot easier to hit cymbols

  • i agree

  • @EverythingSucksByMe duh he uses his left hand on the hihats coz he's left handed or sumthing... there are many lefthanded drummers out there who rarely use their left hand on hihatz... and i think its unique.

  • @EverythingSucksByMe it really dus

  • @EverythingSucksByMe or he must put ride at the same side with hi-hat.

  • Nice! Are those all Zildjian custom A cymbals?

  • sry forgot to do this 97raerae

  • dude ur hot how old r u ?

  • loving ur style dude fucking cool as fuck

  • Flawless mate, Very Well Played, did look like you were in some sort of pain while playing, but great job man, well done

    10 / 10 from me man,

    Well Played :)

  • nice nice. very different style of playing. but good drumming dude.

  • Why don't you reverse your drum set?

  • because some people play open handed, which means instead of using your right hand on the hit hat and your left on the snare, you do it the pther way round, im one of those people, its a great way to move around the kit while keeping a beat on the hit hat!

  • sick!!!ur good

  • ive never seen anyone play like you.

    DUDE YOU ROCKED!!!

  • no were even fukn close to machinegunsmith!!!!!!!

  • how much that costs?

  • a whole set like that would usualy run either to $500 or to $600. Where i live thats how much they cost.

  • Cymbals not included ofcourse.

  • Defni left handed

  • awesome 5 stas

  • such nice cymbals.

  • Haha it took me a while to understand y ur playing like that! Ur a lefty!!!! haha

  • O.O ow noooo, edit your video with song in the editer

  • are u left handed?

  • nice throwing with sticks :p

  • ............Dude that was awesome playing

  • May i suggest that you move your ride cymbal to the left side of the kit? Nice playing dude!

  • Very nicely done!!! Loved your techniques and your fill ins

  • very good zildjians! whats the price?

  • pimp druming

  • well done...2 thumbs up

  • how long ya been playing cheif ?

  • omg dude

your awesomee and your hot and your a left hander like me wooo

    Awesomee Drumming

  • you have very good imagination and technique

    this is really good

but i have never seen anyone play the ride cymbal with crossed arms like you, shows that you can play left and right handed

    very very good

  • i thought it was left handed to but he is extremly good

  • I´m sorry , my english is very poor :S but your are very good masterr ;)

  • BIENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN AL fin ALGUUIEN QUE SABEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MASTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :D

  • i like your snare sound

  • sorry but you have more style than skill ...

  • well said,, stop flipping the sticks man,, your cover is fine tho...

  • Are you left handed ?

  • no, that style is called open handed drumming

  • ok, thx^^

  • im left handed nd he played hi hat wiv left hand like a left handed drummer maybe he plays open handed but is originally left handed?

  • good job dude^^

  • it looks like his wrist is taped up so i assume the reason hes playing like that is he pulled his wrist

  • Hah nice to see you are left handed XD I play same way as you, except I have my ride on my left aswell as my high hat, Give that a try. Its not as awkward

  • Ouch somebody broke their wrist

  • Comment removed

  • U got ur own style of playing...not one id like to adopt but it does ok for u..

  • lol yeah i think hes rigth handed..you naturaly knows if someone plays rigth handed on drums caus he will play open style

  • you mean left handed....right?? I'm a right handed dude and I use my right hand for the hh

  • hah lol yea i screwed up

  • WAH incredible!

Btw, this comment is for all your vids, AMAZING. Speshly Muse and Flyleaf =D

    Same taste in music! WOOOOOO

    ^_^

  • By far, one of the best Drum covers for this song so far! I like the stick flips you do in the beggining

  • awesome beggining. cool. 5 starzz. ^^

  • are you a left-handed person that learned to play the drums in a drumset position set for a right-handed drummer? just curious! coz normally, coz im a right-handed, i cross my hands when i hit the high-hat and dont cross it when i hit the ride cymbal! hehe! anyway! good job! very well done! keep on posting! -yna!

  • nice work but try to play the cymbals on the right sight with the right hand... its better playin than =)

  • u have weird style but its ok.keep up the good work.

  • amazing..i liked it...:)

  • man this is of da hook man i play drums but im gonna try to play this song never tried but yea man u good u aint a fake

  • i'm a left handed drummer to. but i use the basic pattern..that is the right handed.

but this is of the hook!

  • I've never seen anyone play the ride like that, its kind of amusing lol, but i guess it's important to design your own way of playing, instead of hearing from everyone you're playing the wrong way, unless you dont give a shit

  • this is great dude! 5 stars!

  • change your drumset to the left if your left handed,it will be much harder playing like this

  • why dont i just steal ur cymbals YOUN FUCKING CUNT

  • cos ur a lefty y dont you just swap the hat and the ride around

  • That's awesome man. Hey, whatever works, right?? How long have you been playing. I was just wondering how many times you've practiced along with this song before you recorded it. It seems like you got the bass drum pattern down pretty good.

  • that way is not weird alot of famous drummers play like that

  • yes, you are right.

    thank you

  • hey man, 5 stars from me! i was just wondering if you've ever used your ride on the left side instead of the right? it would probably give you a lot more power and dynamics being you'll have more range of motion with your left arm instead of having it crossed over. i play almost exactly to your setup, but i play right handed on a left handed setup lol (basically all my drums are backwards and i have the ride on the right). i have videos too if u want to see what i mean haha. keep rocking!!

  • Yea i've tryed it but it felt wierd to me cuz the rod on my hats would get in the way..

plus it made my set look empty..

maybe when i get a china ill do that so i can fill the spot

  • esta horrible.....

  • lads he may be playing akward but at least hes playing well

  • SOFT

  • Loserrr

  • oh crap dude u rock so hard if u got skype tell me i need some tips from a pro. btw...dat person below me, u got 2 be kiddin me.

  • beginner!

  • o_o open handed player with the ride like that? thats MURDER.

  • nice cover dude, but why dont u have the ride cymbal on your left side? near your hi-hat i mean. would be a lot easier for u and giv u as lot more freedom

  • I tryed that and i felt that made my set look empty on the right side. plus it felt wierd

  • yea its called opened handed but ur most likely a lefty so if its easier for u swap everything around

  • I've definately thought about that and it's not easier

  • I'm digging the a customs, very nice.

  • Bro, nice cover, but I got some questions...

Are you a left handed player? You play your hi-hat with your left hand, and I do that too. I don't want to put my hi-hat to the right, and swap my snare with my floor tom.

Wait, isn't that called ''open handed'' playing?

    Please reply (:

  • yea ima lefty..

and yes that's what it's called

  • Nice play but u should learn how to handle and hold ur stick before to try some hard rudiments but nice clean play

  • great cover. :)

  • Good playin. the way you ride with your left crossed over your right is odd, but you did well!

  • It's cuz im a lefty

  • u switched the arms around with the playing thats pretty kool

  • haha how many tries did it take u to go the whole song without droppin ur sticks?
