  • I don't care how many tests GMC wins. I'll still never buy one. Thanks for stealing my tax dollars.

  • the gcm probably stops faster with a load because it pushes down on the back wheels giving them more traction

  • fords exhaust brake works when you use the brake pedal but reviews say its difficult to use chevy is also related to the brake pedal but is more responsive and the ram has a button to activate it next to the ac and vented seat switches. i thought it was a 2010 shootout why is there 2011 ford and 2011 chevy compared to a 2010 ram? i call bs

  • @dodgeperformance1 When they performed these test the 2011 rams were not available yet.

  • @PIONEERaudioLOVER then they should have stuck with 2010 its an unfair advantage to have a more updated vehicle compared to a older model. i know that each company wants it best foot forward. if it was going to be a test of 2011 it should be named that and consisted of 2011yr models not be named 2010 truckshoot out and only have one truck thats 2010 and the rest 2011

  • @dodgeperformance1 I agree that they should wait and test all as 2011.

  • looks to me like GM is actually a better work truck truck and last longer

  • .... I don't know why they didn't put the exhaust brake on the ram... It would smoke the GM and the ford..... Now they all have it but the ford one's sucks hard, it's like their is no exhaust brake...

  • I love dodge

  • NeoQuello whats fishy about it?

  • idk if this could be an answer but the GM exhaust brake is inegrated to work with the application of the foot pedal, perhaps the loaded conditions engaged it and the engine assisted the stop? i know the dodge, the brake is entirely seperat from the exhaust brake, but i'm not sure how the ford's exhaust brake works, sound like a possibility? idk

  • The added weight from the load probably gave the Sierra more traction to brake.

  • Dodge, Dodge, Dodge!!!!!

  • dodge all the way!!!!!!!!

  • so apperantly every line of truck lies about there vehicles, ha. but being a person that dislikes ford, i was happy to find out that its mostly ford that does that :) over all, in my opinion; 1. chevy 2. gmc 3.dodge! :D

  • I love ford cars, thats all ive had for the last 15 years, but damn, they really fucked up the looks of the heavy duties.

  • i like how he always mentioning that hes at the GM proving gounds.

  • Wow GMC FTW. I would say. I've allways liked the GMC grille the best.

  • 6001 view :P

  • i know the dodge stops quick. i had to make a panic stop on the 401 with a 2010 ram 2500 laramie. it saved a persons life in a civic in front of me. i would have crushed him i was very suprised how good it did and thats from like 140 km's

  • that GMC 1-ton denali just looks amazing

  • they are all nice trucks that are more then capable of hualing almost any thing you will need to. it just comes down to personal preference.

  • i think the guys at GMC put a weight sensor to automaticly adjust the braking power the hevier the truck is the more braking power it will have. at list thats what i think. the las of fisics dictate that the more mass put true acceleration the longer its going to take to stop but if the truck is smart enough to know that is caring extra weight can probide more stoping power when needed

  • @sergh8605 nah, they just put bigger rotors and larger pads

  • something fishy about GMC'S performance..

  • @NeoQuello i have to agree it doesnt make sense

  • @NeoQuello a lot of GM's trucks use a hydraulic system powered by the power steering pump, allowing for around 3 times as much line psi.

  • @NeoQuello more friction on the back wheels... but i'm not an expert

  • @NeoQuello yeah, good engineering

  • @NeoQuello i know how you feel but i think it has a load sensing brake system so that when the the truck starts to squat it pushes a lever and causes more stopping power to the rear brakes due to increase weight causing more traction in the rear i know that this is a style that has been used many time in toyota pickups

  • looks like with all three videos i would say ford and GM did the best

  • @stephenrichy ur smart consitering the fact that there is a 2010 in the challenges

  • this is actually a good idea. to bad it doesn't have many views
