  • that cloud looks might thirsty..sluurrrrrp

  • /watch?v=XPP1KzsRKJU

  • Surprisingly waterspouts are not that rare in Singapore. I used to be from Victoria School( also known as VS, the place the guy in the video was shouting about) which the only sec school in S'pore with a full view of the east coast from the classroom! And managed to see these things quite a few times. I checked CNA and said we recieve several yearly. Actually glad S'pore doesnt get all the beautiful but destructive weather stuff (earthquakes, land tornadoes) but relatively ones harmles like these

  • i want to see a waterspout in real life!!

  • it doesnt look scarry from there but ive ebeen in one its scarry when its 400 yards away on the water with u

  • I have never heard of Tjk before where is it, and what language has so few vowels?

  • LOL

  • 0:13 "Eh damn big eh" 0:15"Oh we're gonna die" lol the accent makes it sounds so funny!

  • is waterspout strong like tornado???

  • @enricoIT007

Not as strong, no, but they can do damage. They are too water-laden to generate the high wind speeds that make tornadoes so destructive, but they can pull up fish, small boats, swimmers, and any loose debris up with them. If they do cross onto land, they dissipate quickly, but dump all the stuff that was sucked up into the funnel. That can be very messy and dangerous.

  • Freaking scary and beautiful ..... wow O_o

  • lmao at singaporeans trying to speak english.

  • That is somewhere around Malaysia but this is which state?

  • @elroygoh02 this is singapore, not malaysia :)

  • temasek jc rite?

  • Thats a tornado! u should of been running away.

  • @ekoslosky No we shouldn't. Here in Singapore, we're pretty much safe from natural disasters. :D

  • @curtis1567 Oh, I didn't know that. Here in United States they are strong.

  • @ekoslosky It sounds scary already. Honestly, if I saw one of those, I'd be running around screaming for help randomly. :P

  • omg...

  • dude i am a singaporean, are you serious? tornado in singapore??

  • At 2:28 it looks like an old man reaching into the water. Do you see his face on the right?

  • " we all gonna die,, wooooh.."

    LOLZ

  • one girl goes " we all gonna die wooooo" so happy -.- gila

  • Must be Alevel stress:P

  • Although tornadoes occur in many parts of the world, these destructive forces of nature are found most frequently in the United States east of the Rocky Mountains during the spring and summer

  • what country is this?

  • singapore

  • Not enuf space here to explain the diff between a wimpy waterspout and a tornado over water, which this is. Their formation is quite diff, which explains their disparity in strength. I've been a hard-core tornado chaser for over 20yrs. The last tornado I saw looked much like this, was in Nebraska, rated EF-2, winds around 130, demolished homes and blew 17 railroad cars off their tracks. Not something you'd fly around or into for your thesis. My nader is on youtube, ask me if you want keywords.

  • hmm but from what i know..this tornado over water didn't destroy anything=)

  • !!HERE COMES THE PAIN!!!

  • Amazing waterspout!

  • how r water spouts formed and how long do they last??

  • they form the same way as a tornado but it is over water, once it reaches land it becomes a tornado.

  • I would give anything to see one of these upclose...they are so beautiful....depending on the spout, they are not dangerous..one scientist did his doctoral thesis on waterspouts and flew through and around one about 30 times....pretty cool

  • This is actually a tornado that has formed over water. It is attached to a thunderstorm, which waterspouts are usually not. One can tell from other videos posted on this incident that this particular tornado packs quite a bit of punch and I wouldn't have liked being caught in this on a small vessel.

  • but aren't waterspouts just tornados that form over water? whats the difference?

  • Well My Parents Told Me they Were At a Beach Going On A Vacation Before i was Born And they Saw a waterspout and my mom started paniking but my dad wanted to see it but my dad said it was harmless,It was moving slowly and when it finally Got on land they moved farther from it,And it Just DISAPEARED!So i dnt think all waterspouts are harmful,But the one my parents mentioned was obviously a weak waterspout..And that was that,It was HARMLESS!!!My dad thinks Tornados and all that stuff is amusing...

  • its a dick

  • It does eh? looks pretty funny lol

  • @67tr876 LMAO

  • thats a painting?

  • Thats not a painting you dumb shit.... take some science

  • what crawled up your ass? Honestly, dont even reply you moron. Did you NOT see how I said, OH NVM, gee, get some eye contacts :)

  • Sorry not tryin to be rude but people (men) have been writing rude comments and disrespecting women and its been pissing me off..... Sorry and I didn't see the part where you said NVM and yeah I do need contacts lol....

  • Take some science? You fucking moron, you don't need to know anything scientific or have any teachings in meteorology to discern a painting from real life. Also, before you make a rude comeback to someone, you may want to consider revising your comment for spelling and grammar to assure that you don't sound like an idiot.

  • For one thing I purposely spelled my words like that so just so you know I know how to spell... thanks very much... just so you know I'm not an "idiot" I will spell tryin its TRYING!! And I don't know how you guys think that this looks like a painting.... you must be fuckin or sorry I don't want to spell incorrectly for fear I will be called an "idiot"!! So you must be FUCKING colour blind to see and think that is a painting..

  • Oh and you guys must be the "IDIOTS" because you think a video looks like a painting.... and honestly it doesn't take a genious to know a painting from a video... I need contacts but APPARENTLY I'm not the only one... ROLMFAO!!! HA HA HA!! So I hope you guys have a WONDERFULLY, SHITTY DAY... Yours Truly JamminJenn420

  • I can see that arguing with a person equipped with your caliber of intelligence would just be a waste of my time. And again, make sure your comments make sense before you post them, many people judge a person's intelligence by their spelling and grammar, both of which you demonstrate poorly.

  • What r u a teacher? maybe a preacher lol practice what you preach there bud grammatical errors 101...... and if i'm wastin ur time why do you continue the argument? seriously though if you're an older person which you sound then you wouldn't be picking or sorry continuing fights over youtube and i think ya need ta grow the fuck up... so apparently I'm the mature 1 at either end and I'm stopping these lame ass arguments...

  • I'm actually only 16. The age on my account was wrong. I don't know why. And that 'maturity' is all physical, the behavioral aspect isn't until much later.

  • @assburgered

i just look at peoples names and decide to take them seriously or not... lol

  • eh damn big ehhhh! lmfao at that accent

  • i would go into it!

    itd be fully cool!

  • I would.... shit my pants, and it would be everywhere...

  • i wanna see one of those someday

  • so beautiful :)

  • one of my phobia,s

  • Waterspouts look freaky as hell...all tall and stuff with their smooth walls

  • holy shit that is cool

  • thats with water. Ours with air.

  • lol, "we're gonna die...who!!!" 0:15

  • rofl

  • XD....

  • these people scream LOUD ö !!

  • Heh. It's kinda funny you're all laughing. Someone from the midwest US (Like myself) would be directing everyone inside. Beautiful, high-contrast funnel, though.

  • that lasts forever

  • Hey, where is that, tjc?

  • TJC is a school in Singapore.

  • I was just gonna say.... Everyone has a Singaporean accent, where is this TJC place, but my question was answered already. Never heard of TJC, what area is it in? I know NYP and a buncha others but yeh Dx

  • it's in the bedok area. :)

  • TJC = Temasek Junior College. HTH

  • @icedreamerz temasek junior college

  • how close were you?

  • gosh u two sound like 3 yr old kids XD. Where u live siol

  • dont blame the singaporeans coz we dont get to see such nature at all often.

  • when the girl say damn big lerx... somehow i felt weird... lolz

  • "we're all gonna die.. woo.." -.-? pathetic much?

  • that's the biggest water sprout i have ever seen.

  • A water spout is a type of tornado. It's just given a differnet name because it forms over and sucks up water. If one crosses over to land, then it is tecnically a full-blown tornado.

  • yes what he said

  • why does this piss you off so much? is it really that much of a burden to your life that a tornado on the water has a another name?

  • because its the warm water that keeps a waterspout going, when it goes onto land it disapears so stfu.

  • hahaha youre getting so mad! thats like yelling about a hamburger with cheese on it wondering why its called a CHEESEburger hahhaahah. FAIL

  • muahahah they say its tornado ! lol stupid!!! its watersprout damn it ! sigh.. not all students from tjc are clever hehehhe

  • The last tornado on land in Singapore (not a waterspout) was in 1955. 7 people got injured.

  • man if i saw a tornado like that ill be screaming my ass off!

  • This Is Weird I thought they Would be Thin.

  • that is big

  • Why not climb up higher and get a better shot?

    What is "tjc"?

  • nowhere much higher up to climb.

TJC is a school in Singapore.

  • sighting? how would it be a 'sighting' its fuckin huge dude! haha

  • wow good .-)

  • haha..too bad malaysia doesn't have a water sprout..but lucky for us we don't have a tornado.

  • actually malaysia does have waterspout...it happened in langkawi

  • God's cock.

  • Nice 1 lol , the girl say "Very big sia " lol big cock

  • WTF

  • no actually it was the first time that we saw it. it's a very rare sight in singapore.

  • question!

how come every1 is standing around? they ar'nt running 4 their life 0_0

& that thing is sooo huge!!! these ppl dnt seem to be scared..i would be....i guess if dat happens in thier country alot..they r use to it? right?? why did god have to create these kind of things?!!!

  • wow!dats a big dick lol

  • Whenever you live in any part of the country where this kind of thing is common, you get used to it. We hear tornado sirens in Oklahoma and we go outside to watch the thing.

  • Same thing in Missouri. Tornado sirens go off and the lawn chairs come out. It's seriously sad how many people like to sit on their porch when we've been given the warning to take cover, ya know?

  • all these people are walking around and stuff like its a normal day but theres a big waterspout right in front of them

  • I wonder what It's like to put yourself in a waterspout? It's not a tornado water spout-is a funnel in the ocean and a tornado is a tornado on land. That's why they call it a water spout because it's in the water there's a difference.

  • Hey-all that be a huge one!

  • crazysanor:you are an extreme idiot ,you realise that ,right?

  • u had no right to say that u no that right?

  • no

it`s WATERSPOUT. If you`re going to live in this country, learn the difference

  • Those things are gloriously scary!

  • A dick from the sky!

Never new it was possible. :(

    So touching

  • Probably the cloud needs more water and is sucking the water from the ocean .. o.o

  • lmao

  • it juz water spout not dangerous la....

they are talking in Singaporean english(singlish)

    hahaha...

  • Not dangerous ? In terms of no debris yes its not dangerous.. But getting caught in one in the water is no joke. It can throw u arnd for miles and u cud drown easy.

  • torneedo

  • What language are they speaking...Oh and that's a nice looking twister.

  • would i die if i ran into it like straight into it.

  • Nah would be like having a shower i reckon

  • No... You wouldn't die from the wasterspout itself

But when it throws you 100s of feet into the air and then drops you straight onto the water, you WOULD die. ;)

  • REtards :|

  • lol true

  • y is barely anyone talking about the video on this page of comments!!!????talk about the video!! (that was a very big water spout tornado)

  • My brother got in trouble for sailing a cargo ship directly into a water spout which did lots of damage to the life boats and other equipement. What a nutter.

  • yeah once it moves onto a surface it becomes a tornado (usually they're weak though, only F0-F1 winds)

  • isnt any one scared????????

  • anyone else think water spouts are scarier than a normal tornado? i dont know what it is i guess its just the idea of being in water. freaky stuff

  • OMG the tornadoe gonna kill us all

  • lol were all gonna die..woo...rofl

  • Dude, fuck waterspouts. their finds go from 30 mph to 50 mph, big fucking deal
