that's a very naive viewpoint I may say, for your info we only had a small part in the boer war, but in both world wars we actually volunteered to help britain out. Even through 1901 australian forces were under british command as they were considered to be part of the british forces due to the fact that australia was now part of the british dominion(not the british empire).
