@BUZZ50RIDER The road surface is fine. All those guys are misjudging the curve. It's a decreasing radius. Very dangerous because by the time you're into the turn, it's too late the slow down or brake safely. All available traction is being used to turn. Watch the riders whose bikes stand up; those guys are chopping the throttle. The riders who lose their rear ends (and then stand up) are stomping on the rear brakes or leaning too far. (And I'm sure the suddenly approaching valley doesn't help.)

@RRRayG Yes, some of them are chopping the throttle in the turn, which causes their bikes to stand up. (Try it yourself if you don't believe me.) And yes, you should brake before you get into a turn. This video shows what happens when you don't because you misjudged the curve. I didn't mean to say the riders were standing up, I meant to say their bikes were standing up because some of them were stomping on the rear brakes.

Question for more experienced riders. Most of these guys seem to be about to highside. 1. how are they saving themselves from the highside? 2. How do you avoid what they are doing? It is commonly taught to lean in and roll on power.

@blaquehawk99 instinct, countersteer and don't chop throttle. Sometimes the rear end kicks out without much warning, it happens. Watch professional superbike riders, the rear end kicks out frequently, just don't panic. Riding dirt bikes is a great way to learn how to handle the rear end sliding out. i actually drag my front brake in the dirt to prevent a lowside when the rear end breaks loose, and i give it more gas to avoid a high side.

All these close calls are because of bad form.... When your trying to get your knee down you need to point it at the ground so that your thigh is perpendicular to your bike... Their hugging their legs against the bike and leaning in real hard..... Practice it at lower speeds first :).... Nonetheless great bikes :D

@anrchyx ,, when I've lost the back end the bike tries to throw me over the front end when the back tire gets it's grip back. I don't think the riders try to stand up. The correct way to handle the situation is to hang on and to hope for the best. People who tell you not to shut the throttle haven't been there because things happen faster than you can think,, and letting the power off is an instant automatric natural reaction.

@Murikk91 ,,The back tire looses grip, slides sideways and then gets grip back,, which then means the bike isn't pointing in quite the same direction as before but all of a sudden tries to go where it's pointing even if the lean angle is wrong and the balance is all wrong. The wheels snapping back in line is what causes motorcycles to jerk like that,, and if it's bad enough the rider gets thrown over the top,, and that's what folk call a "high side".
